Hello ladies,

Right, I have a question regarding wedding underwear. You put your undies on, then your suspender belt and attach them to your stockings, I'm good with this bit so far, the bit I have a problem with is when you need a wee! You can only get your undies down so far because they get stuck on the bit where you attach your suspenders! And as stockings go quite high up your thighs, you can't really get your undies down enough, and then couple this problem with wearing a huge wedding dress so you can't even see what you are doing anyway!

Help! Does anyone understand my plight and what do you do about it?!?

2 options (coming from corset and suspender wearer)
1... small knickers, love 'em or hate them you can move them to 1 side
2... unclip the belt at the back when going to the ladies and reclip after your done... If your dress is really huge you may have to use the disabled toilets and maybe get your BM or Mum to help

I got married earlier this month and had a massive dress on. I had a corset (with suspenders) and knickers on underneath too.

There was no way I could have managed the toilet by myself so enlisted the help of my bridesmaids or my hubbie and the disabled toilet. I managed to pull my knickers down far enough to enable me to wee (without undoing suspenders) but wouldn't advise going to the toilet alone - not when you have a dress, stockings and knickers to contend with.

It wasn't exactly dignified or attractive (bless my poor bridesmaids) when my bridesmaids/hubbie are having to hold my dress in the air whilst making sure my underwear is out of the way but it made for a lot of laughs. It was also a great way to steal two seconds away from everyone and just have a quiet moment in the toilet with the new hubbie or bridesmaids.

I don't wear them a lot but surely you wear your knickers over your suspenders?? Or get what i bought recently from M&S, knickers with suspender bits attached, all in one!

Claud909 - Now that is fantastic!! Knickers with suspender bits on! I thought you put your undies on first, then the suspender belt????

You wear suspenders then knickers, not the other way round...

haha, no worries - luckily I'm on my own in my office - just as well when people send photos on facebook of bad things - how embarassing!! good luck with your toilet problems! I'm cheating and going for hold ups as I have to most fab knickers that I don't want to cover up!

i did ponder the hold up thing, but mine have a habit of rolling down? think it must be my chubby legs!! lol and for one night, i think the ol man deserves the whole shebang!

Usually you wear suspender belt over knickers... but if you are going to need the loo, it can cause problems. There have therefore been occassions in the past on a night out where i have worn my knickers over the uspnders. Not so dignified, but god, sooo much easier to manage in the loo! And you can alwyas slip the knickers off in the bathroom and give the groom a surprise on the wedding night! He he...

I have also tried the all-in-one knickers with suspenders, but have found they do have a habit of slowly slipping down your hips due to the tension of keeping the stockings up....

I think it depends on the make, try SockShop, they're only about £3 each and they're fab, they never roll down. I swear by them!

ps - they don't have retail stores anymore, just online.

I too would like to wear suspenders and would have put the suspenders on first then knickers for ease. You can always swap over just before you leave so it looks right.

Same subject quick question, where do you ladies get you stockings from, I can only find one size which is of no use at all, unless you want knee highs!

I found a person to make my garter so it fits my not so thin leg. Just need stockings.
