Subject: Veils and tiaras - advice please
Hi
I'm after a bit of advice please. I've just had my first dress fitiing and have decided on the veil I want (full length, with ribbon edge).
I'm planning on wearing my hair down (with lots of volume a bit Cheryl Cole style) and was hoping to get a tiara that is more like a head band with just a cluster of crystals and pearls at the side. I want it to be so that you can't see the headband, just the jewel cluster at the side (love the Jenny Packham one Jodi Albert wore on her wedding day but have seen one I love online that is much simpler). All fine so far!
My problem is that when I tried on the veil today at my dress fitting, you could see the comb that it goes into the hair on and the lady in the shop said I would need a normal style of tiara with the jewels in the middle so that it can sit in front of the comb and hide it. I really want a side cluster type of tiara though but do you think this is not going to be possible?
What is everyone else doing (or did you do) about veils in hair? Could you see the comb it was on? Is this more of a question for my hairdresser - would she be able to hide it in my hair? Help!

Ahh, thanks for your reply. I was planning on taking my veil off after the photos. I was thinking it might not work with the side tiara - oh well, back to the drawing board!

Well, the latest update is that I spoke to my hairdresser who seems to think it will be no problem hiding the comb in my hair! I'm a bit worried though about whether he understands quite what my veil is like but he seemed very confident and is a very good hairdresser - I'm just going to trust him and go for it.
If on the day he can't hide it then I can borrow my firend's tiara for when I'm wearing the veil and then when I take it off I can change into my side cluster one.
Phew, problem solved! Thanks so much for your help advice.
