Boudoir shoot - amazing experience at Mighty Aphrodite

Just seen some other threads recommending MA, so here's another one! I had my shoot yesterday and it was brilliant. I was really unsure about it as I didn't know whether my H2B would think it was naff or whether it was worth the money. Anyway, earlier on this year i decided to go for it in case I regretted not doing it and I am so glad I did. As soon as I arrived at the studio, Leigh and Zena really put me at ease and explained exactly what would happen. They went through the lingerie I'd bought with me and accessories and advised me what would work best in the "sets" I had chosen. I had gone for package one which is two sets and costs £450. This includes 10 photos in a gorgeous album and all the photos are digitally touched up. I chose satin sheets and glamourous and it was so relaxed and friendly I decided to go fully nude. Leigh is a brilliant photographer and knew exacty what he was doing and Zena (his wife) did an amazing job with the sultry make up. When the shoot was over, they gave me a CD of over 200 images to choose my "10" for the album. They then touch these up and give you them in colour/ b&w and sepia. It was such good fun I want to do more! So if you are unsure - just go for it and you will NOT be disappointed.

Did you get to keep the disc with the pics? i thought you did, but i maybe wrong!!

Yes - I've got the disc with all the raw pics - not touched up and I think they will be low res ones. Enjoy yourself - it's a fabulous experience!

I have booked a similar thing here in the midlands as a gift. Can you tell me exactly what you took with you for the shoot? What underwear and what accessories? I am looking forward to it, but got no clue what I will wear or look like!

I took about 5 sets of underwear but only needed two. They advised me against the basques because they dig in and leave marks and they hide your shape against dark backgrounds. I took 3 pairs of very high heels which are great to elongate your legs. I also took some long necklaces - a pearl one and a dark one and these worked really well. Good luck!

Hiya, I just wrote on the other thread, but I only went yesterday, so I'm still excited!

I took 3 sets of underwear, one was a white basque with a thong, suspenders and stockings, one was just a normal black underwear set, and one was a black thong, bra and suspenders and stockings. I wated the first to be a bit bridal, and it worked fine. Although in the bum shots I took the suspender straps off because they dug in a bit.

They show you at the end what they can do with the airbrushing, and even when they only do it a little bit, it's AMAZING! I wish I could do it on my holiday pics!

It was fab, I would love to do it again! Just can't wait to give it to h2b on the wedding day!

Just got back from mine!! Loved every minute of it and i hardly ended up using my underwear most of the shots were nude....shocked as thought i wouldnt do that!!

But i had a fab time....loving the pics!!
