i'd be getting in touch with them mich, i have 15 weeks to go and have my order of service all printed (but i am very OCD about it all). We are meeting in August to discuss the publication of banns, so that will be 9 weeks before, and then again to finalise it all on the 23rd September. The wedding is 17th October. All vicars work differently, but would def be getting in touch asap about it. Hope this helps.

I've got all mine drafted and given a copy to the Priest already....our wedding is in April. That's cos it's a big bit of work and they could insist on things being different...still a few tweaks and twiddles such as adding the choir etc but as long as the main bits are done then it should be plain sailing.
That said though, my minister is sooo laid back it'll probably take him until Xmas to go through it all!

I've been to Baptist weddings that took 15 mins and Catholic weddings that included communion and took 90 mins or a civil ceremony that includes secular music and whatnot can take a half hour, every wedding is different depending on what you include.
Mine is supposed to be an hour but suspect with the bits and pieces ie candles, etc it may be closer to 1 1/2 hours without communion....it's RC ceremony.
