Laser Hair Removal

Hello Fabulous People

I'm just wondering if anybody has had experience of this treatment? Has it been effective, painful etc and what about side effects? Any recommendations??

hi ive had this on my legs,it wasnt painful,its just light pulsating on ur skin in a sweeping movement-the nurse just moved the laser up my leg,gently pressing down onto the skin and a light flashes (you both wear googles lol) which is the laser beaming onto the hair follicles therefore destroying them.

you have 6 treatments 4 best results,its amazing and has changed my life-my legs used 2 b horrible,took 4ever 2 shave etc and now i can go 3 weeks without doing it whereas b4 it was every few days as the stubble always resurfaced quickly! now takes ages 4 hair 2 grow again n when it does it soft,didnt hurt at all-i would highly recommend it

I've not had it done... it's no my wish list for next year but we do it at my spa. The clients say it's not painful and the only side effect I know of is it may cause slight spots or lumps in the hair follicles. Everyone I know has been very happy with the results.

My skin doesn't seem to react well to most types of hair removal and believe me, I've tried just about every kind going!

I work at a training spa... it's a full professional spa but funded by my local college and we charge £160 for 6 treatments which should be a third of retail price.

To cut cost see if your local college offers it. x

I had it done and would say don't waste your money!!!
I started to notice a difference after the 3rd or 4th session which was starting to look quite promising but I ended up having 7 sessions , 1 every 6 weeks or so, and was still getting hair regrowth, not a lot but considering the amount I paid I would say don't bother. For me personally it only worked short term and i'm already back to epilating/shaving my underarms now. I paid £90 for the first 6 sessions so £540 in total and then it was reduced to £60 thereafter. So I ended up spending £600 in total!!!!
It may work differently on different people but I'm just giving you my experience x

Thank you, that's really interesting. I suppose it is always a gamble with these things, whether they will work or not but still, it is a lot of money!!
