Subject: Booking a florist?
I've read a few times now of people booking their florist, and I'm kind of confused by this. Do you simply reserve your floritst for that day, or do you have to order all the flowers you want there and then?

I'm confused as to how this works,a nd any light shed on this would be fab!

HI.

All you have to do is see a few florists and get quotes on what you think you might like. You can then decide on which florist you prefer, basing it on their professional apearance, the rapport you may have with them and of course the price itself.

Aftrer choosing who to go with they'll normally ask for a deposit. You can then keep in touch with them and change your mind as much as you want!!

So basically have a vague idea even have a few options and ask then to price it all up and go from there.

Hope that helps xx

We met with two florists to get quotes initially.

Then, after choosing the one we wanted, we booked her for that date and paid a 10% deposit of the quote to reserve her.

After that we kept in touch via email and phone, with me sending her pics etc... as our choices and ideas finalised.

About 2 weeks before the wedding we had a conversation on the phone to finalise all the arrangements, she sent through an invoice of which we paid half, minus the paid deposit, so she would have the funds to order our flowers.

The day before the wedding we sent a cheque for the balance.
