I'm also getting married on 31st July and can not wait!!!! We only need to sort out the ladies wedding favours, which we are making ourselves.

Am having my second hen do tomorrow (Saturday) mainly for family. Think once this is over it will finally feel SO real! Engagement ring is going into jewellers this weekend with wedding rings to be cleaned up - will feel strange not having it on my finger!!!

After spending almost 2 years on this site, I can't believe our big day is almost here! Think I will still come onto this site even after we are married.

Like you say - Good Luck to other fellow 31st July B2B's. Lets hope the weather is kind to us all!!!

Yey it's nearly here! Getting wed at 1pm. Flying to Sharm on 2nd August for 2 weeks with our children. Getting fed up with the weather checker though, it gets worse every time I look. I don't think our garden games and evening BBQ will withstand the great British weather. What happened to the heat wave?

Hi! I'm a 31st July bride too, sooooo excited. Panicing I've forgotten somthing tho! Wish someone would tell you exactly what you need to do! Does anyone know who walks back up the aisle with who after the ceremony? My mum was asking but I cant find an answer anywhere!

I don't think there is any order it up to you guys although I have been to a wedding where the best man and moh walked back up together and the 2 other bm's and ushers walked together.

Hi Ladies, I'm 31st too, I am so excited now! We are all sorted apart from activity packs! I am making the younger children packs with little toys and colouring books to keep them amused at the dinner table and during the speeches, so just need to make them up now and I'm done! I can't wait!

Me and h2b are off to Kenya in January, one week safari and one week just chilling as husband and wife!

Is anyone nervous?

I think the tradition for walking back up the isle is using opposites, so brides father with grooms mother, brides mother with grooms father, best man and maid of honour etc.

What type of venue are you all having your weddings in?

I am getting married in a country church then onto a converted barn for the reception, I can't wait!!

Are any of you throwing your bouquet? I can't decide!

Also, when are you cutting the cake, I'm not sure when is the best time to do it. We have currenlty said we are doing after dinner before evening starts but would it not be nice to do it in front of evening guest?

Anyone feel ill? I know I'm not actually ill but the nerves has really got to me now. It didn't feel real until I picked my dress up, does anyone think it is strange that when I picked it up the women in the shop hugged me and cried ? Amanda I'm throwing bouquet (If I remember!) & cutting the cake half an hour before the evening BBQ so the evening guests get to see it and it can be served with BBQ.

I too have a funny feeling in my stomach. We're cutting our cake before we eat, but only because we're having it as our dessert. I really hope the weather improves before Friday. Good luck to everyone who gets married on Friday xx

Hi I am a 31st July Bride
I think I am nearly ready I picked up the bridesmaid dresses and got a parking ticket from an attendant that couldn't see my ticket in the middle of the windscreen!!!! Had to write a letter of appeal this afternoon just what I needed!!! I am going for my final fitting tomorrow don't know whether to collect it then or wait until Thursday.
I think every thing else for the wedding is sorted I just need to pack for the honeymoon!

I am so excited now, 3 days left! Something has gone wrong though! We picked up our suits yesterday and they have given us all the wrong sizes! The bloody idiot in the shop measured everyone right but has actually given us the wrong sizes, I am so angry! The stupid shop is shut today too so we can't even talk to them about it until tomorrow! Fools! Anyone else having last minute problems? xx
