tulle petal dress...help

just lookin for a wee bit of advice i recently tried on a dress that i think is the one but i called the dress shop to ask for designer n i think they told me a white a lie...does anyone know of a dress with the skirt the same as hollywood dreams dress called lolita...its that skirt with a sweetheart bodice thats very detailed with a little broach thing in the middle, i really want a pic of it

id really appreciate anyones help xxxxx

ooohhh I think this was a dress i nearly ordered. is it cream in colour???

if so, its by Alexia but for some reason there are very few pictures available online. There is a picture on the website I bought my dress from. let me know if i am on the right lines and ill email the shop website

omg you know i think you could be along the right lines because the shop told me its called lexi!! i tried on an ivory one but they said they would do it in white also, its a big dress o im excited!! thanks for replyin xxx

THAT'S MY DRESS!!!!!

Mine says alexia on the bodice! I can't find a picture ANYWHERE! Is it a two piece? I bought the one from the shop. Was starting to think I was the only person in the world. Some of the 'my lady' dresses are very similar too but you have to register online to see them!

I LOVE my dress. It's not on the Alexia website either. They do some couture dresses and I am thinking it might be something like that? I'd love a picture of it.

How much was the one you were trying on. I bought the shop sample which she said had only been tried on twicw (it might be a bit big for some people! lol ) She charged me £960??

It has a site within the thread, patriciadiamond.co.uk is quoted as a site with millions of alexia picutres (I have looked and there is more pictures on there than on the alexia site itself).

You'll find a picture of the skirt on that site (it is shown in pink and ivory) but the bodice that I bought with the brooch isn't shown.

Apparantly the thread says that the more specialist stuff isn't shown so as it isn't copied. This makes sense as my bodice has a brooch but isn't a sweetheart neckline. It is more sturctured like victoria beckhams vera wang wedding dress.

Let me say what WHAT AMAZING TASTE YOU HAVE!!!!

I went out shopping on the first day day and bought it in the second shop I went to! I just knew that there would be nothing to match it! Feel better about paying £960 because she told me a price of £1295! It's so hard to know whether or not you are being ripped off! I was really lucky beccos the one in the shop was like brand new new and it fitted me perfectly! I bargained her down by saying...is that your rock bottom price becos it is a bit more than I was wanting to spend. And it worked!

I am so excited about wearing it! I think it is really different! ?Bit like Coleen McLaughlins! I'm getting married in June 2010! We'll have to stay in touch! Shoe eachother what you are matching it with! (if you end up with it! LOL!) Would love to see what you end up if not this one?When are you going shopping again?

I tried on a Justin Alexander in the first shop I went to which was lovely but..I wasn't sure it was 'the one'. I also liked Ian Stuart's one but never actually tried one on.

I bought so quickly becasue I thought it was 'fate' that she reduced it for me to below £1000. WHich was my budget!

yeah its a bit over my budget too but im gonna see if they will do me any deals because i seen bridesmaid dresses in there aswell...when i tried it on i felt like the bride on top of a wedding cake so special and i kept sayin it was like coleen ronneys aswell! aww its so beautiful...im about 99% sure its the one for me i just want to have a wee look to check but honestly i dont think anything will top the dress its perfect...

im glad youve been told the same price cause that was worrying me aswell...because its not a very popular dress its hard to know if your being ripped off...
