What to have for special dinner-SW!!!

Hi ladies,
I am looking for inspiration! I have chicken in the fridge that i need to cook and it is H2B's bday tomorrow! his family are cooking tomorrow so I want to make a specail pre birthday dinner for tonight!! Any ideas? I'm on an exttra easy day if that helps!!!

Is it a full chicken or chicken fillets?

With chicken I usually make either a curry with rice and SW chips (Mmmm my tea for tonight!) or I cut chicken fillets in half, stuff with half fat grated cheese (HEA) and garlic granuals then marinate the top with a mixture of soy sauce, paprika and garlic (and some bbq seasoning if I have any) then wrap in bacon and cook for 30-40 mins. Then you can serve with either jacket potato and veg or SW chips and salad? It is really yummy!

Hi I have chicken mini fillets! Just have t be cooked today! I'm on extra easy and have already had 2 weetabix and 350ml skimmed milk for breaklasft so I have no more healthy extras left:( Or that sounds really lovely! I will definately keep that one in mind for next week!!

We are getting married 6th May 2011! So aaaaaaages to go yet! But I started SW in Jan to lose weight for dress shopping at the end of this year! When are you getting married?

For a completely free EE chicken meal I make Chinese Chicken. Basically cut the chicken into pieces and fry in frylight with garlic granuals, paprika, chilli powder and cumin when it's almost cooked add some frozen peas. Make up rice as on the packet. Whisk 2 eggs and pour into a pan like an omelette and fry both sides in frylight - cut this into small pieces and add to the chicken and peas. When rice is ready add to the chicken, peas and egg and warm through. Add more spices if you like it hot! Just like chinese but completely syn free!

We are decembe 2010 but maybe summer 2010 we might bring it forward!! I am on the herts and essex boarder! I also want to lose weight to try on dresses so I know how u feel!! but your picure helps keep me on track its lovely!! I still havent worked out how to have a picture yet!!
What do u mean by garlic granules? Garlic salt or fresh garlic?

I use the garlic granuals in the Schwartz range but you can use garlic salt or garlic powder - Schwartz do all of those I think. I just find it easier than fresh garlic.

I'll give that a go in a second I think!! I couldn't find those garlic things in Asda there was a big hole where they should be!!! I'll get them next shop and give it a go!!
What a coinicidence we got engaged in Zante!! On the beach at Kalamaki at Sunset just us on the beach and my SIL2B got married in Zante!!! Where are you getting married!?

Wow that is a coincidence! It was our first holiday that we had together in Zante so that's why we decided to have it there!

We haven't chosen a venue yet - just paid a deposit to secure our date but I've found a set of 3 lovely villas that would hold our wedding party and we can have the ceremony there too - let me find a pic for you.....

We don't have to start deciding things until next year though and everything will be arranged through our planner.

We were hoping to be able to go over there to check out a few venues etc but I doubt we will be able to afford it!

Oh my godness our first holiday was Zante too!! That venue took my breath away hun it is truely beautiful!! It would be just perfect all your loved ones near and staying together!! I'm welling up!! Heehee I think you should defo go for it they are dreamy!!
It will be ncie to have a planner as well to oversea things but you can still add your personal touches!!
When would u go to look at venues. If u went out of season it would be a lot cheaper and u could look at a few!!

Yeah we wouldn't mind going out of season to save cost but it depends really, we might have a look at finances after Christmas and see if we could just go for a few days without the kids maybe.

I get really excited looking at different things on the internet - when we paid our deposit the planner gave us a password to access the website with everything that's available - there are sooooo many packages and wedding types its amazing!!

What a coincidence that your first hol was Zante too! Hehe. Did you go turtle spotting? We hired a peddalo and went hunting for them - they are amazing also - god I am a turtle geek haha.
