You're right I haven't been on here for a while! Been trying to think about the best thing to do!! We have called the Fennes and they have said we would only lose our deposit £500. We went to see the reid rooms and we really liked it so we are currently debationg moving the wedding to summer next year and having the wedding on either a friday or a sunday to try and reduce cost. Plus now my dad has had an accident and fallen off a ladder and broken shoulder and hurt foot so things have been really manic!!
Also been feeling a bit low as I have tried slimmign world for 4 weeks and only lost 1 pound after sticking to it 100% so feeling a bit low to be honest so haven't been on here that much!!

How is your wedding planning going on!!?? ANy news to update?

I was just thinking the other day about your dilemma, i had seen one post from you a while back re other essex wedding venues, and i think i suggested Reid Rooms.. Its so nice!!

Well im glad you've looked into it and i hope it's not feeling like such a dilemma for you now.

Sorry to hear about your dad, poor thing, hope he's better soon.

It's a shame you'll lose your deposit, i could never hold that if i saw a bride to be upset, i'd have to give it back. But i guess that's what they're there for. To be fair im not suprised, we really wanted to book there and they didn't go out of their way whatsoever to budge on the price! Hence why we didn't book, they basically said 'we know we can fill your day!'

Oh you poor thing, it's so difficult isn't it. Ive been healthy eating for 3 weeks, well nearly 4 and i lost one pound, whoopy do.. for all my hard work i really thought i'd of lost 3lb or something!! Keep it up mate if thats what you want to do. You might find in the next week or so alot will come off at once.

So far we've got the venue (Three Rivers), the cake topper, the dress, the shoes, the florist (fab price!!!!! If you need a florist let me know, u wont be disappointed with the prices), a photographer - not booked yet, due to money and trying to convince the h2b lol, and two vintage cars (again a fab price) FiL2B is buying these he used to be a panel beater too so he may get us a car from his old boss..TBC.. either way he's sorting that and he's making our cake!!
