First off let me say, The day was great, it went to fast but was the best day of my life.

As you may/may not now we had a black and white themed day.

The wedding took place at our local church which happens to be a few doors away. We had a car booked to take us to the hotel reception after the church ceremony...but i walked to church.
There was me, Molly (my baby girl) and macy (my almost 5 yar old daughter) Nicola my best friend and maid of honour and my Grandad.


The big day was sunday 30th August..
It started off a nice sunny day...bit within an hour of the ceremoy beginning the wind started....!!! I had quite a sleak hair do and a huge bun, the veil was cathedral length and the wind was making the veil pull my hair out (thats why on lots of pics im holding the veil lol)

So, lets get the important bits out of the way....OUTFITS

I wore Maggie Sottero Irina. This was in ivory. I also wore a pair of killer heals by Karen Millen and a tiara from Princess Poppy tiaras. The tiara was swarvski and pearl which was complimented by pearl bracelets and necklace and a single tier cathedral veil scattered with swarvski crystals.

The Tiara


I have 2 daughters. Macy and Molly. and they each wore a flower girl dress from Kelsey Rose. They had them in ivory and a black sash.
They loved them and felt like true princesses all day.
Macy also wore a small crown in her hair and Molly had some butterfly clips.

The Girls



My MOH wore an ivory knee length skirt (she is over 6ft so long was out of the question) a black bodice and an ivory sash.
She also wore a swarvski headband....we were runing late so she just wore her hair down.
She also wore a heart necklace and a pair of black eals by jasper conran. She looked beautiful....all the girls did.

The Groom wore.....

Well my husband is a label freak and thought as i get to wear an expensive dress he too should spend lots. He wore a black fitted Prada suit with prada shoes and tia and a hugo boss shirt. He also wore the watch i got him as a gift and a pair of cufflinks i got for him. He said he felt like james bond hehe!!!

I think he looked great and i was so happy to be marrying him. for all i cared he could have been in a bin bag.

we got badges for everyone...groom, usher, bestman, bridesmaid etc.
The button holes were a simple avalanch rose except kev who also had a small amount of hydrangea to match my bouquet.
More about that in a min....

Ceremony Flowers

As i mentioned the boys button holes i thought i would explain about the other flowers,
My friend is my florist and she made a huge hanging basket for outside the church as well as 2 black trumpet vases in the church full of white fowers, i however made the bouquet for both myself and my moh. we made them with hydrangeas and a couple of avalanch roses. These were made the moning of the wedding and bound together with black lace. Everyone commented on them....to be honest it was very easy but effective, i wanted lots of flowers and wanted a huge bouquet.

mine had 5 stems and cbm 3.

The flower girls simply carried a fake pommander of roses that i got from laura ashley in the sale last year. (they are to hang in your wardrobe and are scented lol) They worked well for the girls as they were light to carry and wouldnt get broken easily as they were false.
