I always swear by my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. It stays put and doesn't melt in the heat. I'll definitely be wearing it on my wedding day in Italy.
I trialled it in May when we went out to visit our venue and it stayed the course and didn't slide off at all - I was very impressed. The only thing I would say is, use a bit of blusher or brozer with the foundation as some brides find it reflects light when the flash is on a camera (though I've never had this experience myself and have had plenty of photos taken with a flash over the last 3 1/2 years). I also use the Estee Lauder Face Primer underneath as it helps to set the foundation and makes it longer lasting with a great finish. I have the Estee Lauder Double Wear concealer too which is great at hiding any blemishes or under eye circles.

my cousin got married in cyprus last june well into the 90's and I done all the bridesmaids make-up, I used mac studio fx liquid foundation with their prep and prime underneath it - and even me with my horrid shiney t-zone managed to look shine free until the dancing started lol The prep and prime is lovely has a soft sheen to it so looks great in pictures!

Hi Jules, I was a bridesmaid at a wedding in florida and the make up artist used Mac make up which was good at staying put... without sounding dreadful though, whilst the make up didnt "melt" you do perspire, and its actually when you wipe this from your face that your wiping the make up off. (it was VERY hot in florida). I'd recommend getting some of those blotting papers that will take the shine off your face without wiping your make up off - and also one of those paper parasols to keep your face out of the sun whenever possible! Also great for photos! Think also the Mac primer may have had something to do with the make up staying put!
