Where did you get your invites?

Hi everyone

Hope our wedding plans are going well. Mine have hit a snag with one of the most important elements -- the invitations! I'm having a very large wedding in Lagos and need 500 invites. I have been looking at India as I've seen some great ones there but the shipping costs seems a little prohibitive at the moment, it's still an option though but just wanted to pick people's brains.

Where did you source your invitations? Especially if you're having a big African-stylee wedding. Don't really want to spend more than £400. Is this realistic?

My dad looked into costings in Lagos and he said they were working out quite expensive as they charge you printing on top. To be honest, am finding that most things in Lagos is working out very expensive compared to here.

All ideas gratefully received. I basically have 4 weeks to get this sorted, so time's ticking....

I think you could deffo get something for that!, we have done our own because my H2b runs his own graphic design and printing buisness x

We got ours from Bride & Groom. I wanted something a little more elaborate, but hubby put his foot down saying he wanted very simple invitations. Very reasonable, and quick service. They will also be able to print invitations in your own language if you supply your translations.
