Does anybody have an Italian Marriage certificate?

I had a perfect wedding day in Bellagio, Lake Como, Italy on the 7th Sept. Now I am all set to change my name...............

I am slightly confused with contridicting information on the internet and deed poll regards changing my surname and title when I have an Italian marriage certificate. Does the certificate need translating to English? or can I take an Italian marriage certificate to the passport office and it is fine to change my name from that? I have to have an up to date passport for work everyday so this is priority to be changed first.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
