Good Morning Ladies.

At the moment, me and my W2B are trying to plan a large high society English/Nigerian wedding in 2010 and I've really hit a roadblock in my planning.

I am currently looking for the following but not even google can give me anybody of quality - does anybody have any leads?

I need:

A Nigerian DJ who can also play some good english music (I realise this is pretty much gold dust)

Nigerian caterers who can cater a buffet to 600 discearning nigerians (trust me you cant pull the wool over these peoples eyes with quality )

English food caterers who dont charge too much per head for a buffet

Quality childrens entertainment for about 40 children (aged 5-12)

A bus high company - we need a routemaster bus for as little as possible for 2 jouneys

Some quality hire cars for the celebrities/VIPs in attendence again for as small a cost as possible without losing quality

so ladies can you help this man in need ?

Hello Guys and congrats on your weeding.. for the lady looking for a Nigerian Caterer for 600 guests, try Myrtle & Olive....They catered for a 2000 people event about 2yrs in Hendon Park London for some church function...google Myrtle & Olive.

My wedding is on the 30th of October and ive left my bride and her ppl to sort out the girlie and posh bits while i concentrate on the techy bits of things cos i'm very finnicky abt quality.
I have booked DJ Sose whom i saw play at a function in Abuja while i was there last year (apparently he's based in Hatfield); he blew me away with his skills on the decks....I was actually planning on flying DJ Jimmy Jatt in from Nigeria to play at my wedding in London but i was completely sold on this guy, and his tattoo face just makes him stand out.....He's expensive compared to other quotes i got from other Naija DJ' based in London and u've got to speak to his manager (now i didn't know whether to be impressed or not, but it made no difference) I'm forking out £115 per hour for a 10 hour booking. Truth be told he's alot cheaper than Jimmy Jatt but equally as talented.

Ive seen what Alaran, Atunbi and Jide Alakija can do with their cameras and i totally respect what they do but i'm a photoshop buff myself so i'm not too big on forking out alot of money on photography...i'm thinking of booking some guy i saw on Gumtree called Ayo (his outfit is called Flamboyant Shots) to handle the photography at my wedding...he's an events photographer and since i'm big on action shots rather than all the wedding shots being staged and framed, ive told him what i want given to me on a DVD.

I'm getting a guy called Timi who works fro a TV production company in London called R70 to take care of the videography, he's very professional and ive seen alot of his work on HITV on Sky....

In all i'm spending about £2500 for all three services which i think is a good deal considering the quality and professionalism i'm after.

I'm not sure if i'm allowed to share their contact details or website addresses but you can google all of them.
