New Year's Eve seems popular, but don't see many Chrimbo Eve brides.

We are getting married on the 24th and are having a two-day celebration with our family and friends.

Just wondered if anyone else is doing the same - if so what are your plans?

Are we the only mad fools??

Ooooh, lucky you christmas eve!

I would of loved to get married on christmas eve but have two children so need to be at home to do santa ect but it would be so romantic. I am very jealous! We are the 18th Dec so a week before christmas but even this is stressfull, how are you dealing with it all? Are you coping ok or is the stress getting to you yet?

It's not too stressful - I think I panicked more at cooking the Christmas lunch for the whole family the other year!

As we are combining the wedding with Christmas stuff Im having to be quite disciplined and most things are done early.

I'm making my bridesmaid's tiaras and have one left to do, place name cards, table plan and that's about it - so well on track. just have to pay for everything now - but we've been saving up so all should pretty much be covered.

We are going with the Christmas theme and have santa making a visit for the kids, iced festive hearts as favours, Christmas song themed tables, crackers and festive centre pieces.

Getting so excited now - bet you guys are too!

Hi, im getting married this christmas eve and was really worried, can you put my mind at rest?

I am struggling with my centre pieces - was thinking of tall lillie vases, mirrors, tealights, calla lillies and purple and silver twigs?

How was the day, what time did you get married?
