my flower girls will be carrying little gold wands with a flower attached... they will be 3.5 and 5 and we thought they'd be too little to scatter flower petals...

I don't think our page boys will carry anything (are they supposed to?) but just look cute!!!

hiya my flower girl will carry a basket with petals she's 4 so prob dump them in aisle then run to her parents but she'll look cute lol, and pageboys arent carrying anything. they are escorting the flowergirl and junior bridesmaid in whos 8 and will have a small bouquet to match the adult bridesmaids. I thought it would look cute and also give them more confidence to walk in together rather than alone.

My flower girl is a year and a half at the time of the wedding.
I looked at this bag that can be put round her wrist that looks like a pose before deciding she wasn't quite up to that.

So I am getting her a flower for her wrist so she has nothing to drop.

I think either a wrist corsage or how about a little pomander ball that the girls could carry/ have attached to their wrist and would be fairly durable if it got dropped? I think this is what my 2 and 4 year old flower girls are going to have - guess it depends on the children and how reliable you think they are to be able to carry something! I'm not having page boys but at another wedding I went to he carried the ring cushion

I'm having my flower girl carry a little basket with a teddy bear in it. The idea is for the bear to have a similar dress to my flowergirl so it can double up as her wedding gift after the ceremony.

You could have the page boy carry the wedding rings? just an idea obviously! Glad to see someone else is planning a wedding as far in advance as myself!

Hi, Im having 3 flowergirls and they will be carrying little pomanders made of wire with artificial flowers inside. Then if they drop them, or throw them around - which inevitably will happen! - they won't fall apart. They have little handles that they can put round their wrists so won't get boredx of holding flowers xx

I recently went to a wedding fayre and one of the florists had a hoola hoop covered in ribbon and a couple of flowers entwined round.

my mother passed a comment as this had been the fashion years ago and the florist said it was coming back in again for smaller bridesmaids ?????????????

my flower girls are 3, 5 and 7. the are all having a small bouquet of flowers. my daughter was a bridesmaid for her aunty when she was one and held them very nicely. i dont think they are too young for flowers. she also had a little bag that matched her dress with sweets inside to keep her amuzed during the ceremony. i am also having two pageboys, the older one will be 6 and he is going to be carrying the rings down the aisle on a cushion. the younger one will be just concentrating on walking! he will be 1 and a half. 4 months to go till the wedding, he has just started walking bless him!

I think I am going to go for a cute Personalised Teddy so mine can keep it as a gift from us both. Page boys are so hard but I may also end up getting ours a teddy too.
