Subject: Did anyone get married at Priory Hall, Hadleigh?
Hi there - did anyone get married at Priory Hall? We have been to look around and I love it! my only concern is they are only licensed until 11.30pm - was this ok? Just feel it is a bit early. What time did you all end up actually leaving? Any pics or reviews of it would be really appreciated before I go ahead and book!
Thanks!

I did! I was so so pleased that we chose it as our venue - it was truly lovely (we were very lucky and had a gorgeous sunny day which meant we could really use the gardens) and worked so well having the marquee as well as the hall. I had worried about an 11.30pm finish but on the day i thought it was fine (and in fact was quite tired so not sorry to stop dancing and go home!). we had our ceremony at 2, and i'm glad we didnt go too much later as otherwise an 11.30pm finish might have seemed too early. we did get a bit told off as our i-pod disco was starting to overrun - so you will have to stick to the time for music, but we had plenty of time to say goodbye to our guests and ended up leaving at just after midnight i think.
do let me know if you have any other questions - am happy to help! there's some pics still on our photographer's website - http://www.onlinepictureproof.com/roshayphotography/gallery/ (the first featured wedding)

Thank you for your reply! Your pictures are stunning, and your dress is amazing! I've only just started looking at dresses. We've booked Priory Hall! I am so pleased we have, and really feel it's the right place for us.
We're getting married in a church in Colchester, so my initial idea on timings was get married at 1pm - 1.30. Pics at church 1.30-2pm, then by the time everyone gets to Priory Hall it'll be 2.30-3.00pm ish which gives us a nice long afternoon and evening - do you think this sounds ok? Don't really want to have it any earlier than 1.00 as we're not feeding people til they arrive - canapes at 3pm, then hog roast at 5pm.
Anyway, thanks for your help and letting me look at your pics. I can't wait until next June now and hope we are as lucky with the weather as you were!
