Where are you all going for you hen partys?

what you all planning for you hen partys?

I have just seen in asda you can get little pink and silver crowns! and silver wands! and pink bubbles!these would be fab to go in a goody bag for all your hens! They are in the section where you get things for party bags, you gould get 12 packs of thigs for £5!!!

I origionally wanted to go to Ibiza for the weekend but h2b put a stop to that! So im thinking blackpool now!! Just for one night, the pleasure beach during the day then a very drunken night out! hehe.

Hi katie. I don't really have many plans yet, as I think I'll wait until mid November (my 30th is end of October, so want to celebrate that first - 2010 is a busy year!) I was discussing things with my sister (head bridesmaid) and we think we'll hire a big country house somewhere and get pamper people in, then have caterers come in that evening for a big boozy dinner. I'm not really a party animal - much happier at home - so it seems perfect idea.

I've left it in the hands of my sister who's my MOH, but i'm starting to think that was the wrong choice as she's even too busy to come for a BM dress fitting after 6 weeks notice !!

Our original idea was a weekend at Centre Parcs, but considering we're quickly running out of time, it'll be a cheap wkend away somwhere in this country !!

went to ibiza last yr fri 2 mon4 my best friends hen and i have to say it was the best weekend i have eva had.
we went opening weekend of the season so the clubs were amaziing, but reeeealllly expensive and got delayed 18hours coming home so ne1 who is thinking of ibiza i wud 10000% recommend it.....dont fly with easyjet tho, we spent the nite in the airport!!!
as we did the abroard weekend last yr we r thinking of doing classy this time
VIP newmarket races for the day....posh dresses & shoes champagne etc.this way the mothers can come 2.
then on to the clubs after
their r often bands on at newmarket so we will prob go when something like that is on
my little sis is my bm but she is a nitemare so il probs get my friends 2 sort it.
in fact my sis is sooo bad i may have o start a whole new topic on her and get all ur advice....she is fast going 2 b made redundant from the post of bm!!!

i love the idea of hiring a house, my friend is getting married in the jan/feb 2011 just after me and this is what she wants to do, i hadnt thought of getting pamper people there that would be great! she would love that! we're going to take a kareoki machine as well!

ibiza would have been AMAZING ive been 7 times on girly holidays and i just wanted one last big blow out with the girls none stop dinking and dancing!

when h2b put a stop to it i did think about going to london for the night and seeing dirty dancin, then my mum could have come but i think id prefer a big drinking session with the girls. I honestly had one of the best nights of my life there a few years ago we went to a club called the cindicate (think thats how you spell it!) and i can honestly say it was better than any club i have ever been to in ibiza - there were lazers and steam! and i just remember us all being on the revolving dancefloor and insomnia came on, we all grabbed hold of each other and screemed! we were hugging eachother and shouting i love you! hehe that was prob the drunkest i have ever been, but man what a night!

if you did london you could do dirty dancing (h2b took me 4 a suprise last yr....its brilliant!!!) get mum back to a nice hotel, then hit the pub with the girls???
im going to stick the mums in a taxi home (its only a 40min journey from home) then get right on it with the girls!!
ibiza is the most amazing place iv bin with the girls
we went to amnesia 4 the opening of manumission and the show was just out of this world.
we all dressed up as angels with halos and wings 2!!
i think i can say its easily the most i have eva drunk in my life and we survived on bout 2hrs sleep just 2 get up and start all over again!!
im loving the idea of a house and pampering tho...much more calm and relaxing.
also alton towers do sleepovers at their hotel, which would also be cool??sleepover then a day at alton towers would be loadsa fun if u like the rides!

I honestly can't see myself having a hen party/weekend, mostly because I don't really have enough reliable girlies to make it worthwhile (like 3, and none of them know each other.)

Most of my closest friends are male, and I somehow can't see H2B cheerfully waving me off to Ibiza with a gang of lads - which is what I did a few summers ago, Ibiza with 9 lads and me was good fun - felt quite proud of meself for keeping up with the drinking

Hiya, I'm not really into the club scene etc, so what I'd love to do is go to a spa for the day and get really pampered with everyone and then we can go out for a meal at night and maybe a couple of pubs. x

alton towers would be a fab idea! i love it there! i might look into that one.

i used to be well into club scenes up until i met him, now i much prefer snuggling on the couch to nights out, im getting old ha.

aww impish thats a shame you dont have enough reliable friends to organise something, im sure your friends would want you to have a good day/night?

im off to look at what else i could be doing, i really facy blackpool, but also dirty dancing, now alton towers oh and a spa!! hehe how will i ever decide! xxx

There are 20 of us and we have hired a fab farm house for the weekend and are going to have a relaxing girly weekend with lots of chillin and drinking bubbles.
There is a pub near by but we can get loads of booze and food in as its self catering and just have three days of cheap girly fun.
Can wait!

Hi! My bridesmaids are my little half sisters and will be in Canada still (with the rest of my family) so I'm organising my hen party myself. I don't fancy a big night out, but only because I just feel like I could do that anytime! Instead I've found a lovely cottage near Cheltenham to have for a weekend, it includes dinner at a pub Friday, wine tasting with lunch Saturday, and a chef to come to the place and cook our dinner Saturday night. I plan on bringing loads of champagne and strawberries, some girlie movies and spending the night catching up with all my friends - I think there will be 8 in total. Then I'll cook us pancakes and fry ups for breakfasts! I think it sounds fabulous, its a bit expensive, about £185 per person, but I've given my hens about 5 months notice and they all seem really keen (well all but one but she might be being made redundant so its understandable!) I'm so SO excited I spent ages looking around for what i want to do but I like how I get to be with my friends, have some drinks, have a laugh and celebrate.

tarka that sounds really great...id let your girls do the cooking tho!!!lol
we paid quite a lot for our friends ibiza weekend, £200 for flights and hotel thenn all took £400 for spending.i think as long as you give enuff notice your hens will b up 4 it.
suzie then did a cheap nite out locally for the ppl who either werent in to ibiza or couldnt afford it, that way no1 lost out.
kate im the same used 2 love the clubs and sat nite out dancing with the girls but now nothing beats a takeaway, x facotr and snuggling up on a sat!!
impish, i would be most def b proud if i did ibiza with all the lads and managed 2 keep up!!
my top 2 choices at the mo r the races...tarka are there races at cheltenham??, alton towers and a show in london....katie that ones your fault!!lol

ohh yeh i love the idea of hiring a cottage and getting someone in to cook for you! omg what about naked chefs!! hehe im sure you could hire some blokes like that wearing nothing but an apron - just to make it extra tacky! ha.

im really fancying alton towers also! ive been looking for nice hotels in blackpool tonight but im not having much luck! i think i would regret it if i didnt have a big drinking session and a night out!
