Where are my Diana dress twins??

I'm here too!!!! I booked my dress alteration appt today for the end of the month! My wedding seems real now! haha. 74 days to go til I get to wear Diana.....scream! x

Hey Iv not actually ordered mine yet still deciding between diana and ian stuart cabaret but think im definately swaying towards the diana with a few alterations, I would have the straps removed and am also contemplating having a veil made with apliques of diana material to be added to the back of the dress in the style of eva in their latest collection as I would only wear the black corsage belt for the evening and wanted something a bit wow for the church. What do you all think? Would it look ok? XxX

mrst2011 i think that is a lovely idea- i was thinking of having the leftover material from my alterations put on a mantilla style veil but im not so sure now as we arent marrying in a church and i think it might be a bit much. ive had the straps removed from my dress but they are on poppers so for the reception i am having them criss crossed across my back/halter neck style with my hair up (im having it down for the ceremony) the corsages are lovely but they just swamp me so not having them or a sash now xxx

Wow a fair few now! We're all so excited! Everyones different alterations sound lovely! Im getting married 16th may.... so only 4 months really! Cant wait to see pics of everyone in the dress!
So im still looking for the ivory corsage and also some other options if i dont suceed... Mummy 22 what was the sash like to go around yours? I was thinking of something like that with maybe an vintage brooch attached or something just to give it a bit if bling?xx

I was going to have a sassi holford sash in champagne- it was beautiful but we are getting married abroard in a really rustic setting and it just didnt work (after a lot of thought!) would have looked amazing at an english wedding-traditional- or city chic!i think you should look at having a sash and brooch smcspriggs-would look stunning x

Yes I will look into it... Will be my challange for this weekend! So can you just buy a sassi holford sash from a stockist? Im having a vintage style theme really with just ivory, dusty pink and sage greens, my flowers are hydrangeas and im loving the dune shoes at the mo but have also got some really nice ones in Next!

Yes they also had a dusty pink one!I'm trying to remember how much they were now...I'll have a look in my wedding book thingy and let you know!

Our 'theme' is ivory, dusty pink and gold!and rustic vintage!haha!Oh and a hint of hot fuschia pink too. I am having roses and hydrangeas for the centre pieces and just roses for our bouquets- a rose called sahara-its a really vintage pink colour. AND my shoes are Kamiela from Dune!Though like the sash they're too bling so I'm wearing them in Vegas instead and after the Christian Louboutin bouquet heels for the wedding!

Ah glad you got is sorted hun- I saw some gorgeous vintage ones on etsy-wonder if its the same lady?!
