Hi,
Just thought I would start a new post off in the correct chatroom as soon I can say we're getting married THIS YEAR!! Wuhoooooooo!
Any other New Hall brides care to join me? If so what date are you getting married?
Our plans for our florist have fallen through so any recommendations would be great.

Hi Lizzy, Hope you're ok. Happy New Year!
I had a quote from Venuedress: £3.99 per chair. I went to their showroom and was really impressed. (I thought some of the chair co's I saw at the NEC wedding fayre looked awful). I just need to work out what else we want them to decorate. Although they did quote £60.00 to add organza bows to the bay trees at the front of the drawbridge & to each of the bay trees in the marquee. I thought that was quite expensive but then again do I really want my H2B running around tying bows to baytrees on the morning of our wedding! Ooo decisions!
Who quoted you £2.50 a chair?

Hi hun
I still cant figure out how i get alerts, and always forget to log on!
We got the quote from a company called Sparkle. We met them at the NEC and they seemed really good, so will hopefully meet up with them in a few weeks. So much still to do. Sort out the music, the favours, favour bags, flowers, dress fittting, taste new hall food, chose wine!! arrrggghhh
Are you going to have one of the packages? im trying to work out what is actually cheaper for what we want!
xx

Hi Ladies.....
Im am considering getting married at New Hall for 2011 but I am really after advise from you. Sorry to be a pain but I am at the early stages and dont have a clue about all of this!
I am looking at having approx 40 to the sit down meal and another 40 to the evening... is that enough people. Do they have any minimum numbers. Also where are you guys having the meal and evening reception, i like the idea of the Marquee but think with 80 people maybe we would all look a bit lost, hehe.
I dont mean to be cheeky but can you give me any ideas as to Figures they are charging and have they let you negotiate on price?
Help Ladies because you all sound so organised!
xx

Hi Ladies,
I don't seem to get alerts anymore so didn't realise you had posted. Lizzie - Hope you're well. We stayed at New Hall a few weeks ago. I met Sarah briefly but we were really there to meet the florist & see the vicar etc so will go back up soon and discuss in more detail about the big day. Nope, I still haven't booked chair covers! I have been concentrating on sorting out my BM dresses. Will discuss packages with Sarah closer to the time.
Hi Kyliewade, Im not sure about your numbers. We are having 112 for the day and then an extra 50 ish for the night so we're spening the whole day in the marquee. Although I know with 40 for the day you could probably use the grand chamber. Although the marquee is lovely & cosy if they pull the room divider down.
Hope this helps
