it was on christmas day
it was the first christmas i spent with him, he's dad pulled a tiny box out of the tree, and passed it to my h2b.
he then passed it to me and sat on the sofa next to me. when i open the box it had a ring in it,
his mum then said well what do you say.

Ours was on holiday in New York - he kept asking me what I was looking forward to the most, and I said just relaxing in Central Park.

We spent a day there and came across one of the lakes, where you can get a little rowing boat and you go out just the two of you in it. He was really edgy bless him and rowed out right into the middle really fast (away from all the other boats!).

Then he said: "I love you and I want to spend forever with you, which is why I have a question to ask you..." Then he pulled out the ring and said "will you marry me?".

Perfect! He got soooo many brownie points! xx

My H2B and i were celebrating our 2nd year together by watching Oliver! and having dinner at Gary Rhodes 24 - inbetween doing these two things he took me on a diversion to the london eye, where he had booked a private capsule (there was also i lovely lady on our capsule serving us chocolates and champagne,) As we got to the top of the eye he got down on one knee, whipped out the ring of my dreams and asked me to marry him.

To date it was the best day of my life, love to my gorgeous H2B xx

awww they are both so romantic.....

Both Mark and I met at a youth centre where we volunteer, so I was told that I had a team meeting so I was put off the sent....

I arrived that evening and peeped through the doors to the back hall but it is frosted so I couldn't really see and shout back to h2b... there is a birthday party on in here meeting is in the cosi...but he said no no and pushed me in through the doors where I stop to the sight of 1200 balloons all over the ground and from the door into the middle of the room is a rose petal walkway that leads to a beautiful archway....I gasp...turn around and there is Mark on 1 knee....

ant then afterwards he lead me too a fairylight lit table that has a scrapbook of us with every cinema ticket we ever went to see in it and beside it a rose (cause i love roses) dipped in gold and something else so lasts forever...

went to london with the H2B the weekend before xmas. We spent the day walking around and went ice skating at tower bridge. we then went out for dinks in the evening along the thames. it was freezing. just as we got to a lil gazeebo with a lovely view of tower bridge he told me to take a picture. So i got my camera out and he cuddle me from behind. He told me he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and would i marry him, while on bended knee of course. I couldnt stop crying, just kept nodding my head. He told me it wouldnt be official till I stopped crying and actualy said yes. Oh boy did that stop the tears. lol.
Turns out he had spent the whole day with the ring in his pocket and couldnt believe I hadnt realised it was there.

Happiest day of my life x

My fiance was working at a beautiful golf club, and planned for us to have a romantic dinner there. As we sat down for dinner, he said that he had to show me something, and dragged me out of the doors next to us (with me complaining that all the food would arrive and would be cold!) to a waiting golf buggy. I had no idea what was happening and quite frankly thought he'd lost it slightly as we headed off across the golf course. But then we rounded a corner to a really secluded bit of the course, next to a lake with trees all around. There was a table for two covered in flowers, a bottle of champagne waiting, and candles in lanterns surrounding it all over the grass. He led me over to the table, got down on one knee, and then asked me to marry him! I could barely get the word 'yes' out as I was crying so much.
When we got back to the resturant it turned out that the staff had told everyone there what we were doing as they had all helped to set it up, so we got a huge round of applause and people kept coming over to see the ring and congratulate us. It was so perfect!

We were lying in bed at 1am on Valentine's Day after being out at a gig all evening.
He saw the time and said "Well I guess it's the 14th now. Shall we do the cards?", and we gave them to eachother.
I remember him not opening his straight away, instead watching me open mine.. I opened it, and it was a beautiful lavish velvet card with "For my Fianceé" on it.
I looked at him, wondering if he was joking, and I said "What is this?"
He replied with his cute little smile "Fjar [my nickname that he calls me by], will you marry me?"
My reply, a rather choked up "Of course"

I almost exploded with happiness, it was so perfect for me. I'm not a fireworks and champagne person at all!

we was in my parents caravan (all my family were in the caravan), and he scuttled off to the bedroom then he called for me. i just looked at my mum and she raised her eyebrows at me so i went into the bedroom and he said for me to sit down on the bed. he rolled off the bed and i was like what the heck are you doing, then he knelt up and held out a ring and basically said, "what about it pumpkin, will you marry me?" i was in tears (unlike me)! we went to tell my family and the first thing my mother said was 'omg your pregnant'. it wasnt the most romantic setting, a tiny bedroom in a caravan pissing down in wales, but truthfully having an elaborate and romantic proposal isnt my guys style, and thats why i love him, because he is who he is, and being clumsy and falling off beds is his style.:\) that was the 18th August 2007, so still got a year wait.
