Im on the 29th. Cant believe we have passed the year to go mark.

So far i have sorted:

Church
Cars
Photographer
Venue Decorations
Grooms man suit chosen but nothing put down yet.

Im hoping to get flowers and cake done soon, as H2B isn't around much this year so fitting everything in when he is.

Hoping to talk to you all alot over the next year

I'm in Essex too, we're getting married on the 29th at St Mary's Church in Saffron Walden.

We've organised the Church/reception venue, catering, evening entertainment and cars! Starting to think about the stationary.

I'm so excited!! x

I am new to this site but excited to hear about all the Jan 2011 weddings.

Mine is the 22nd Jan and so far we have sorted the venue, catering, cake and photographer.

I am going to try on my dress again tomorrow and pay the deposit and cant wait!

I'm 22nd too - and it's also my 30th birthday that day! A double celebration! Really excited about it - my H2B and I live in London (I met him down here), but we're getting married in my hometown of Airdrie in Scotland.

Glad to see there are lots of organised brides out there - people laugh when I tell them what I've organised so far! We've ordered my dress, the bridesmaid's dress, the venue and registrar, the wedding insurance, the photographer, wedding car, cake, favours, wedding website (lots of people travelling for this, so needed to organise ASAP), the band and the magician (to entertain while we're getting photos taken, and for the evening reception).

In our wedding package we also have the table flowers, name cards, seating plans, etc. already included - so even those have been organised.

Just need to whittle down the guest list - have 110 during the day so far, and a further 65 evening guests! Seems to just keep getting bigger and bigger. The problem/nice thing is - almost all of those invited will actually come!

Not got too much left to do - just groom, best man and page boys outfits to sort out - all hiring from Moss Bros. Need to get my tiara, shoes and underwear. Need the flowergirls dresses - but waiting for winter collections to hit the shops. Need bouqet s/button holes. Then we just need to get ourselves there and organise a mid-week break afterwards (thinking Paris) as we're going to wait for summer for our real honeymoon.

So much to think about - but only planning on doing this once in my life - so it needs to be perfect! Hope you all have the day of your dreams!

I'm the 22nd in Alloway! Have the venue booked but need to sort everything else. I may be a bit too laid back about this ;\) Major planning trip due next month though.

I'm 2nd Jan. Finally picked my dress at the weekend. Exciting!!!

jojopink , mrshogarth 2b, bridecara & happy fishie we're all date quintuplets!! lol im gettin married in liverpool (me 'ometown) lol all i have to sort out now is the cars, and to pay off the hotel.....all in all a tatal of about £1900 left to pay....so excited i cant wait!!!!!! oooooppps forgot to add i forgot bout this board haha xx

I'm also getting married on Jan 22nd 2011. Not very organised at the moment, although we have booked the venues and put the deposit down. We are getting married in Westcliff-on-sea, in Eseex.
As myself and partner are both entertainers, we have had lots of offers from fellow performers. My partner and I have got ideas but not started actually booking things yet. Very excited though!!!
Having difficulty finding matching wedding rings as I can only wear white gold and my partner can only wear yellow gold - its not about comprimising, we are allergic!!! We both like diamonds for stage work. If anyone can suggest somewhere that does matching rings with diamonds in yellow gold for him and white gold for her, it would be a huge help!!
