my h2b is an Everton fan too so have been trying to get in touch with them for a congratulations for him for our day in September. I emailed a letter to this address everton@evertonfc.com which I got off the website and was emailed back asking for my address although that was in December and I havent had anything from them yet! so am hunting around for some more contact addresses!! If I find anything I will let you know!

Everton were BRILLIANT when i got married. I wrote to the general email address and got a card back, but as it had taken quite a long time, in the meantime I had written again, this time to a specific lady whose name escapes me at the moment - i will look when i get chance at home. This was only a week or so before we went away to get married so i was starting to panic. This lady replied, in time for me to take it with us, there was a card which said on the front something old etc.... obviously on a blue everton card.
There was also a certificate sort of thing saying congratulations to ptat and hub on your wedding on ....date....., signed by the man himself, David Moyes (proper signed, not a photocopy)

As well as this, i sent a blank wedding card with my letter, and this fab lady got some of the team to sign it, and sent it back with the other stuff.

I wrote back to the lady when we got back from wedding/honeymoon to thank her cos i thought she was so ACE.

oh my god ptat that is absolutely brilliant! Was the lady called Val by any chance? I had an email back from a lady called Val ages ago so maybe there is something on the way from her. I have a blank card ready to send to them to see if they can get any of the players to sign it, my h2b would be absolutely made up!! Can you remember which address you sent it to at all please?

I was so pleased with them, thats why i replied. Hardly on here anymore, being an old married, but my friend alerted me to the post!!

I'm pretty certain her name wasn't Val, but i still have all the stuff at home and will look later and post tomorrow. I definitely wrote a letter though rather than email, i think i had that tip from someone on here. I enclosed the card with my letter, and it all came back in a week or so.

Big thumbs up for Everton, he was absolutely thrilled with his bits, think the certificate is on his wall at work.

OK ladies, I checked my stuff and its pretty much all come back to me. I addressed my letter to the Managers Office, Everton FC etc etc, and it was dealt with directly by his PA, I guess if anyone can get him to sign something, its his PA.

I sent a letter saying stuff along the lines of my h2b is a lifelong everton fan, and that it would make his day to receive something from the club to recognise his wedding day. Lots of nice stuff like that. I enclosed the blank wedding card, and said i would be most grateful for any player signatures on it, if at all possible. Basically i grovelled a little bit, said i appreciated how busy they all were blah blah.

And like i said yesterday, all the goodies came back about a week later, actually i remember enclosing an SAE, making the effort for them to send it back, and they didn't use it. How excited was i to see the Everton crest on an envelope on the doormat when i got home from work. Lucky i was home first. Some people give their work address as a contact to avoid this.

write to their wedding planner or to graham sharp (fan liason) and send them a card to sign with a SAE to return. My friend got the card back, and a letter off sharpy with a signed photo.

My first email went to Graham Sharp, he did send back a card (the something old etc..), and it did take a long time, in the meantime the PA to the manager sent all the other stuff.

Try both, nothing to lose.

Ha ha i agree inkie - and i don't even like football, but they put a smile like that on my hubs face then they ok by me!!
