I live in the midlands and my Mum is fretting about shopping. Has anyone been to a shop they can recommend for finding something that is special and unlikely to be seen on other guests at wedding (without being over £250)?

I've been considering taking her to John Lewis or Debenhams and doing their personal shopper thing - has anyone done this?

I have found a lovely shop in Market Warsop, Nottinghamshire called Francesca Paige. She does some really unique occassion wear and cruise wear. I saw some of her outfits on a catwalk at a wedding fair and fell in love with several of them after being totally stuck for ideas.

I'm waiting for their summer stock as my daughter's wedding is in July, but I'll be paying her another visit for sure. Her outfits were between £100 and £200.

my mum is also worried that someone will have the same outfit as her!!
already i have been told by mil2b that granny has 2 outfits for the day!! aunty works in debenhams so theyll all be decked out in debehams!

so i was looking around for somewhere a bit different too. ive come to the conclusion that to go to discount stores like Boundary Mill (theres one in walsall or grantham) as youll get lat seasons outfits for bargain price! so hopefully no one else will be wearing the same as your mum.
