Yeh i am having a band made up of friends and family who are very musical and then DJ?

I think most bands provide a disco also, so they don't have to perform all night. HTH.
we used a singer/entertainer who also did the disco. Think most bands do play music in their breaks.

We are having a band, they are providing music in between their sets so we don't have to pay additional for a dj. We got to see them play live recently and they are fabulous. So excited can't wait for my big day!

We've booked a surprise act which I'm very excited about but won't say what just in case friend/family see this post!
We've booked a punch and judy show (was to keep the children entertained to start with but as i've told people they've got really excited lol) for after dinner we've booked a magician whos going to do a show while everyones seated and then later in the evning he'll do some close up magic, we also have bought some chinese wish lanterns to set off and have a Dj too!
We're planning to book a DJ & Carachaturist for the evening. We had our pictures done a couple of years back, and everyone who comes round always coment on them, so we thought we'd let everyone have one!
I would get a band.... it creates such an amazing atmophere! We had one at our wedding and would highly recommend them... They are called Brown Sugar and have a male and female singer - in fact the female is also lead singer for the band Chicane! we've booked a band called boogie hook up who play covers and ceilidh. they've also said they'll play music during breaks.
