Can anyone recommend anyone in Glasgow to do my wedding make up? I have found someone but she has quoted £50 and I think that seems quite expensive, but maybe it's not! Thanks L

£50 is actually quite reasonable. I've got trial with Louise Dyet this month and she charges £30 for trials and on the day it's £100 for the bride and £50 for bridemaids etc. I think £50 is quite a good price and probably what your going to pay. I don't mind paying a bit more as I seen Louise Dyet's pics and they look amazing. Good luck. x

www.blusha.com Laura Kerr. She is AMAZING and does loads of fashion stuff as well! She books up so fast so would get in there asap!

Hi lisrob66,
I thought £50 was expensive too until i started pricing make up artists!

That is actually quite reasonable.
I am having Claire @ Simply Make Up based just west of Glasgow (Clydebank kind of area) and she charges £50 for make up on the day and the trial is free, and she uses airbrush foundation which is fantastic.

Hope that helps!

Hi lisrob66, why not try finding someone who is relevtivley new, just finished college. I worked with a girl who studied make-up artistry and she was amazing, was doing all these photo shoots and stuff! They will try so hard aswell because they will be trying to make a name for themselves. xx

Thanks ladies. £50 probably is quite reasonable by the sounds of things. Just checked out a couple of the websites recommended and they look fab, so have contacted them to check availability. Cheers L

I used jacqui Bruin at looking good- she was fabulous and she won this years vows award!

She isn't any more expensive than most and worth every penny!
