I'm annoyed! :-(

Hey ladies

So, this isn't really the end of the world but I'm feeling a bit miffed! Basically I ordered my dress at the end of September last year, after searching high and low and loving every dress i tried on!!! Anyway, I have recently bought my shoes and jewellery/hair accessories and wanted to go and try the sample dress on again with all my bits just to make sure that everything looked how i wanted it too. So I contacted the shop and they told my that they no longer have the sample dress in as they sold it and MY dress will not be in the shop until August/September (I'm getting married on 11th December). Im gutted! I was quite suprised they had sold the sample as i thought the dress was a fairly new style. Anyway, i guess that doesn't really matter!

I'm sure I will still love the dress (even though the picture on the internet does not do it any justice whatsoever and i forgot to take some pics of my trying it on because i was so excited and i just forgot!!) But there are always girls on here having dress wobbles and now im worried myself!

Just wanted to get it off my chest!!!

Hi hun, is there not somewhere else that stocks your dress so you could go and try the stuff on with it?

I've phoned around a couple of places but no luck as yet!!

It's not really a big deal, i think i just got it into my head that i wanted to go and try it on and now i cant!

Its bad luck to see yourself in the mirror with everything on before the wedding day anyway,

I always tried things on individualy, like dress and shoes. then shoes off and dress and veil. never saw everything together till the morning of the wedding. its was amazing seeing myself as a bride for the first time... lol

Awh I know what you mean, I went to try mine on again with accessories. It's very exciting. But don't worry, I'm sure you'll be ok and you'll have plenty of time when your dress is in and I can guarantee that you will still love it!

Wow what a fabulous dress that is hun, I love it I think your accessories will look fabulous with it...are you having a veil and tiara too? x

p.s. I had never heard it was bad luck to see yourself in everything before the wedding hee hee....although I never listen to things like that anyway, what will happen will happen and I doubt looking at yourself in a mirror with your bridal outfit on will change that x

Ah thank you, that makes me feel better!

Im not having a veil, but Im having a headband to match the jewellery and also got some little hair grips too but not sure whether i will wear those as havent decided how to my hair!

Ooh sounds lovely, I bet you will knock h2bs socks off when he sees you!!! I don't blame you for not having a veil with that dress, I think with the right hair bands and jewellery it will look gorgeous x
