Just having a slight crisis in judgement.... H2B and I have decided not to hire any entertainment for the reception as we both have alternative tastes and decided it would be easier for us to make cd's ourselves instead of hiring a dj. Though now after discussing plans with friends and certain family members i'm worried that this may not work and that the reception will fall flat =( which is my worst fear apart from being stood up,lol. I know i should go with my gut instinct but i am feeling the pressure a little. :\?

Does anyone have ne ideas/advice?

We know exactly what music we want so we have hired a DJ and are giving him a play list. He is more than happy with this. Maybe you could do something similar. A (good) DJ will know haow to work the room and get people dancing and it will give you one less thing to worry about. xx

Get a DJ. Ive seen a lot of weddings and its a fine art to work the room and get people dancing. You really need to read the mood of the room and play the right songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLBWFlmuo-Y
