Subject: Nigerian Photographer & Videographer
Hi All,

I'm getting married in August on my birthday and me and my H2B will be having a traditional nigerian wedding reception. We are looking for preferably a nigerian photographer & Videographer because they are able to understand nigerian culture and therefore capture the moments. While saying that, they will have to be a professional with creativity as you all know that wedding day only happens onece in a life time.

Another thing we are also looking for is invitation and order of service designers/ printers, the ones we've across are over our budget, with some being £1 per invite.

One more thing, we need to hire chair covers, we need around 400 chair covers but the suppliers we've been coming across are charging between £1.50 to £2.50.

Can someone help me pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase

I can recommend http://www.myhomepictures.co.uk/ who is Nigerian photographer in London.

We are using Optimalprint for our wedding invites and you can design them online...you could do your OoS using these.

I've done my OoS using MS publisher and transferring to a PDF which you can then give to Optimalprint. If not try and find a gospel printing company they tend to do better deals for short runs.

Hey Kunbi,

Thats is if you want a storybook, I just want online pictures and all my pics on cd so I can print them myself for much cheaper £700 is for 6hrs and he has another one that is £1000 for 10hr coverage, it is expensive but I would rather invest in photo money as these are the pictures that I wil have to look at and remember my day for the rest of my life so many photograghers take such over airbrushed pictures and it just makes the pictures look fake.

That's cool Kunbi - thats what we are here for.. :\)

With regards to low cost hire - they will deliver, fit and collect - i am having my wedding in London and they are charging a total of £450 to deliver, fit and collect the covers + sashes which is still way cheaper than most places...

Kunbi - do you have the details of the wedding invite maker in Naij - as I am about to place an order for my invites for Lagos and it is still working out to be £800 for invites and OoS..and the ankar invites would be a great idea - details pls...

Yfowy - that's a great Idea - i did the OoS for my friends wedding using Publisher and it worked a treat - only thing is that it has now expired so I'll have to find another means of making it work for me if i decide not to go with the designer in Naij...

Yfowy, yes Michael has a website, its www.michaelibiayo.com and he's great to talk to as well.
I certainly understand what you're saying regarding photos. I only want my pics on CD and the digital album as well, my fiance can do the website thing as he specialise in those kind of thing, so he will post the pics on our website.
