Do you think it's rude to put in the Order of Service the following as a polite reminder?

'We respectfully request that there be no flash photography during the ceremony.
Please turn off all mobile phones and pagers.
Thank you.'

I don't want folk spoiling the main pics or distracting from the ceremony by taking pics during the ceremony, besides we're paying for a professional to do this during the ceremony.

Much better than the vicar announcing this before the ceremony starts, which happened at the last wedding I went to!!

Thanks Is2blb - I suppose it wouldn't sound very welcoming would it. I was at a Christening and someone started taking flash pics and it was really distracting.

At my nephews Christening there were five babies being baptised and the Vicar announced at the beginning but it did sound a bit off when she said it...when we were at the font someone obviously hadn't heard or forgotten as they started taking pics.....five mins later the Vicar announced 'you may now take photographs' there was this awkward silence with one or two folk shuffling from toe to toe LOLOL.
