Hi

I'm new on here but wanted to post as I needed to let off steam. I have been TTC since my wedding in September. My AF has been on a regular 28 day cycle and then this month it didn't arrive. After 5 days I got a little excited, done a test and got a BFN. Then today I get my AF and it's really upset me. I've bought some fertility testing strips, does anyone know if they work or are a waste of money?

A similar thing happened to me. I came off the pill and appeared to be having normal 28 day cycles. Then suddenly my period was late, I got excited but was not pregnant. However, from then on I realised I was actually on a 32 day cycle and so I started using ovulation tests as wanted to check wether we were guessing the right time of month and we got pregnant first time of using them (It turned out we were trying at wrong time of month by just following the calendar)
