Subject: Wedding dresses with built in corset?
I'm getting married in September and am trying to find a wedding dress that flatters my shape. I am a size 14 hourglass shape, but I have very large boobs. I think I need a dress with built in corset to make the most of my figure and keep my boobs under control. Does anyone else have this problem? Do you know a wedding dress designer who does these sort of dresses?

Unfortunately to get a decent quality dress you're looking at decent quality prices.
Try Suzanne Neville - I'm very busty and I don't even need a bra with one of her dresses (honestly, MIRACLE).
Stay away from Jenny Packham and Stephanie Allin.
Also try Phillipa Lepley, but uber uber pricey.

Hiya Hun - I tried some Benjamin Roberts dresses on and they seem to have these built in corset with a zip and buttons over - they are stunning and the shop I went to had sample dresses in the sale! So if you shop around you could get a great deal - I loved Benjamin Roberts 958 & 951! (both had the corset)

Hey I am a size 14 hourglass and am rather large in the chest area too - i found the essence and ella by essence dresses really flattering plus they have a built in corset. my dress is an ella by essence. Try on lots and lots of dreses - i found that large skirts didn't do anything for me and i thought i wanted straps so i could wear a propoer bra underneath but they didn't look right on me either.
Also take a look on the bravissimo website as they do underwear for larger boobs and they do a rang eof wedding underwear that include corsets and strapless bras.
Ther eis a picture of me in my dress on this thread

Does anyone know if Ian Stuart dresses have decent corsets? I've only tried one on with a bra (doh!) and will need some serious boob supportage like you gals. Would rather go without having to worry about bra straps etc if possible, but think I'll end up totally falling in love with one of his dresses when I go looking properly.

It actually depends on the dress.... some have corset backs and will be boned to support without a bra and other with zip backs won't have that. I would say it can range by style rather than designer.
I have an Ian Stuart and it is a zip up back but it is boned and it looks best without a bra - I went to the shop armed with lots of different lingerie options and turns out I didn't need any after all!

Hiya, im very big busted too..32G.
And i bought alfredangelo 1136, and i dont need a bra with it. But girls you can get basques that hold everything in and you cant see them under the dress. I tried mine on without a bra, and she tied me into it so tight that my boos arent going anyway. And you cant even tell that you dont have a bra or basque on. xx
