Where can i go for 10-14 days Sept 2010 £3k??

HIya,
im looking for some help!, when we first started planning our wedding we got an offer from a family friend to go to menorca in an apartement for a week, but now it's worked out that what we would spend on flights, car hire and spending money we might aswell go somewhere else.
So origionaly i wanted a cheap little get away but after all the stress this wedding is causing me at the minute and the money we are spending on the day, we have changed our minds and would like to go somewhere 'special'.
Ive worked we could spenf 3k, i'd like to go somewhere special, but not mexico, for either 10-14 nights, All inclusive on or after 14th september 2010, somewhere beautifull that is quite quiet and romantic
Can anyone reccomend anywhere?. Or am i being unrealistic?

It depends on where you would like to go to?
You can get to plenty of places in Europe on that budget and you can get to USA on that budget toon and the Caribbean.
My h2b and I are off to Miami for 4 nights and then have a 7 night cruise to the Eastern Caribbean to look forward to at the end of August xx

maldives!!
if u contact coop travel they can usually do a good deal...u could maybe get it for 3k. ours was 3800 but that was over new years eve. its really expensive then.
we stayed in meeru in a jacuzzi water villa. we have done a lot of travelling, carribean, florida keys, west coast of america, most of europe and the maldivian islands just had the edge for us....so quiet luxurious and romantic.
we wanna go back asap

I have looked in the maldives and for 1 week yes 3k will get you that but for 10-14days its 4.5k

hhhmmmm it is expensive isnt it. we paid 3800 for 1 week over new years but we said it was worth every penny.gonna try do it again in next few years. although we doing a bahamas cruise and florida in aug so views might change haha!!xx

Im actually going to the maldives for our honeymoon but we have decided to wait and save a little more, wedding in oct and honeymoon in jan, 1 week skiing, 1 week maldives and then thinking may as well do sri lanka while there..

I cant wait. gutted i have to wait but i know it will be worth it

We went in september, the weather was fantastic, i dont think it changes much, cold season 28 degrees and warm season up to 32, 32 out there is hot thou, thats my pic outside those apartments i linked you.

It was the most amazing place, thats why i dont want any less then the maldives now because i cant think of anything that will top it!

If you contact people through that site they can be bargained down aswell, Hawaii are suffering as much as the rest of the world, we had a bargain out of it.
