Four Weddings

Sorry to start another thread on four weddings

but has anyone else seen the advert where one bride actually asks another bride to leave her wedding!

This is going to be a good series :\)

The one I watched last night (Rosie and Jim) - I'm sure her cousin was signed up on here and came to defend her after all the abuse she got on one of the threads?

I also remember looking at the four weddings page on facebook and seeing what some people said to the brides on there.

Makes you wonder who the hell would actually go on a show like that, when theres a high chance you are going to be portrayed as a b itch and you're going to hear bad things about your wedding which would taint the entire day for me.

I am flipping addicted to that show but no way would I have let any cameras or potentially b it chy girls near my wedding! I've missed the ads actually, when does the new series start?

Its still saying 'coming soon' - so hopefully within the next fortnight.

I think after the last series one of the brides actually came on and talked about it - can't remember her name but she was one who came across quite well anyway. I think she had a red dress. It sounds like this one will be good!

I'd love it if one of them namechecked YAYW!

I seen the advert yesterday of a couple getting married Naked on Four Weddings.

WTF?~

I didn't realise a new series had started!!!!

What channel is it on and when?

Oh yes I remember her, I think that was the very first episode and she won?

Yeah I think that's right. I think one of the other brides on there was a glamour model who spent absolutely loads but everyone preferred this girl's really fun wedding.

Yes I'm Rosie's cousin and I didn't 'come on' here to defend her - I was a member long before the show aired. All I can say is that you see a very small, highly edited and engineered portion of what actually goes on. Rosie got a really hard time for what went on during that show and to be honest if I didn't know her and know for a fact that she is nothing like that in real life, I would think she was pretty awful too. She made lots of positive comments and gave some high scores bhut you only see the less positive ones. You don't see the way the shows handlers ask really leading questions at 4am when you are drunk and tired, you don't get told that the birdes have it written into their contract that they must do what the director tells you to so if the director tells you to go to the shops, you go to the shops! I know that if they could do it all over again Rosie and James would not go on the show. I think you must be mad to even consider it after seeing the first series!

This is cheap tv, leading questions and I feel the day would be tainted with people criticising including your dress ---- aagh no thanks!

at least she didnt have to worry about finding the perfect dress! LOL

I'm a little confused that you have to do what the director tells you to do. Is that really true? What happens if you don't .. ?

This is the reason I won't watch these sort of programmes. I was on TV myself once (something completely different) and even the tiny bit I had to do was totally manipulated into something completely different! On another wedding website I go on, a member is a relative of one of the brides on Bridezillas and that bride and groom were considering suing the programme makers for misrepresentation. The programme wasn't even called Bridezillas when they signed up for it for a start...!
