Subject: feel so sorry for h2b
hi everyone

just need to get this off my chest as h2b doesnt want me telling the family yet..

bless him he has been let down by both of his bestmen... first we fell out with one on new year he stayed over at our place and had a fall out with his girlfriend he turned nasty and we had to physicly (cant spell today sorry) throw him out... words were said and the up shot of it all is that there 20 yr friendship is now over things were said you cant take back!! worse still his gf followed after him some people you just cant help.

then last week the other bestman has told us he is going on holiday!!!!!!! he asked us why the hell did you book it that weekend GRRRRRR... its been booked since last year!! and everyone knew my poor h2b is so upset.... ( he made it sound like it was our fault! )
i was told today that this mans gf didnt want to come anyway and i think thats why the holiday was booked as she knew full well when the date was....
ive suggested he asks his dad maybe but he is not so sure as his dad does like a GOOD drink and is a bit worried... also his other choice im not so keen on but will not say this as it is up to him.

i jsut feel so bad and at the moment i cant tell anyone, my bm's have just arranged my hen do and now i feel guilty cause he may not even have one

why do some people let you down so much

ahhhhhh feel better thats off my chest think i might confide in my mum tomorrow as well shushhhhhh dont tell anyone

thanks 4 reading

He must be gutted
Its not fair of the second bm to book holiday, even if his gf didn't want to go, she could have stayed at home!!
Its sounds bad but it really does show how much he thinks of your h2b, any other bm would be proud to be asked and join in his special day, some people just need to get thier prioritise (sp) straight.
Self Confessed Jelly Tot Addict and proud!!

Oh no Tammy, sounds like your H2B has really had a bad time with his so called mates in the last few months.

Not much advice to give really, but hope it works out ok.

bless ya ladies

i just burst out crying when i read your replies..

i just feel so useless and really mad at them for him.. your right so called best mates.. he's better off without them.

i just want everything to be right, i know he will ask someone else but he also does't want it to seem like second best if you know what i mean

Thank you xx

awww tammyjane hun i know exactly how bad you feel for your hubby2b...my other half just went through the same thing with his best man (his best friend for over 20years) they had a big row about the bm trying to cut him out there joint business,no paperwork so hes up s### creek now but h2b is gutted there friendship is over and he really only has 2 close friends.
My heart is breaking for my h2b so i know exactly how you and h2b are feeling right now. I keep sayin to mine "dont worry ill be your best friend" but I suppose evry man needs male friends we arent enough but chin up and big hugs to both of you and I hope it all works out okay in the end.

Some people are just plain horrible, and do not understand what our weddings mean to us,it is true what they say that you really do find out who your friends are when things get tough,or you need someone I bet hubby has got a friend who would be honoured to be his best man have a wee think, better to have one good friend than loads of tossers.
