Getting married in 3 days and i've got a stinking cold!

Poor, poor me! Please someone make me feel better.
I'm dosed up with flu medicine, and i'm even taking my 3 year old's vit c chewy sweets! I have a nasty spot coming up on my top lip and i'm due on this coming week( but not leaving gap with the pill!!) I still have menus to print off, collect dress and suits tomorrow and then finish dressing tables on Friday evening. I want to curl up in a ball and sleep forever.... I wish!
Someone cheer me up please, please, please.
Oh and my MIL and SIL are still sulking and refuse to come to wedding!!

awww hun im feeling for you, have lots of hot drinks and vaporub works wonders when i go to bed helps me breathe better too, try not to rush and do everythign at once, take it easy and if you can can someone help you collect those things? why are mil and sil refusing to come to wedding? by the way at the end of the day its there tough luck for missing it if they do and not yours, its your day hun hope you feel better soon xxx

It's such a long story about those 2. I posted in ES some time ago and no one could believe it. I thought i had won a tv at a raffle, but decided i didnt want it so offered it to mil. Sil overheard the conversation and butted in and took the tv for herself (her needs were greater apparantly!) Anyway turned out the tv was actually won by my mum (same surname mistake) so asked sil for it back. She yelled abuse down the phone at fiance and told him she didnt want to talk to him anymore as she has to suffer for our mistake!! (she's 40 btw) MIL calls half hour later and says we have upset her and slams phone down. Shortly after we receive both their rsvps saying they dont want to attend the wedding WTF! Fiance tries speaking to mum on xmas day but she doesnt want to know. Then 3 weeks ago he goes round to help her clear garage of junk and asks why all of this has happened and that he feels it's gone too far and asks her again and she politely says "no thankyou". We have been thinking of nothing else since christmas. Mil hasnt been the same since her husband died and i think sil is exploiting her.
There are going to be so many questions asked on Saturday and i feel we should just tell people the truth. Most people know, but family from up north will wonder what is going on.

that's crazy! maybe it'll be better if they don't come then you can just forget about them and enjoy your day

I really hope you're feeling better soon. If it's any comfort I'm getting a massive ulcer on the back of my tongue and my h2b has got a poorly tummy and we're 5 days! And my sister and my mum aren't coming out for my hen day on Sunday.

Get well soon hun and don't let your MIL2b and SIL2b get to you, and just ask them to ask you about it at a different time, if you get lots of questions, because you want to enjoy your day? Big hugs! xxx

oh my goodness i don't envy your problems - is it any wonder you've ended up witht the cold - that would fully stress me out!!!! I'm prone to colds and stuff so i've been religiously taking vitimans and eating plenty of fruit and veg cos i was hoping i wouldn't take it - got a week to go so i'm praying i don't end up with one - hope your feel ing better and don't worry about the family - if they aren't coming now - stuff them and worry about yourself!!
