wedding rings

hiya im new 2 hear so hea goes my 1st post wot coulour gold r ur wedding rings white gold or yellow gold? mine r yellow xx

we bought our rings at the weekend... been looking for ages and then stumble upon our rings and decided to buy them there and then. woop.

ours are both white gold. mine has 3 diamonds in, and his is daimond cut.. so looks like it has diamonds but actually doesn't.
im going to be wearing my engagement ring on my right hand after the wedding, as i now prefer white gold jewellery and my engagement ring is yellow gold... plus an awkward shape to fit with other rings :/ x

When my future hubby started hinting at a proposal and started not-so-subtly pumping me for info about the kind of E-rings I liked, I was very quick to point out that as almost all my jewellery was silver, not yellow gold - ergo my E-ring should be white gold.

But instead of just trotting off and obediently buying white gold, he went off on his own little fact-finding expedition and decided that as white gold has to be fairly regularly re-dipped to avoid yellowing, and that as Gold is softer and more damagable than other metals (and he has a fairly hands-on job) a platinum E-ring and wedding bands were the ideal solution.

My e-ring is Platinum so my wedding band will be Platinum. My h2b isnt really too fussed about what he has, we have been looking at Palladium which is really nice and is quite cheap - result! means i can spend more on my ring now
