Can anyone recommend a foundation for dry skin?
Most foundations will clog on me (particularly those advertised as long-lasting). I had a free trial at a Chanel counter and tried the Chanel vitalumiere, which was quite good - didn't clog at all. I got a sample too and it's alright, but I worry the coverage is a bit too light.

I absolutely love the Laura Mercier Oil Free range.
Also her tinited mosituriser has great coverage.
Any LM stand will give you free samples to try so try them out.
I have dry skin and her foundation is the best I've used.

Hi, I have tried vitalumiere, I love it but yes it is light coverage. Have you tried the prolumiere? Or another suggestion I got a sample of the body shops moisture foundation, and I was a bit sceptical, but have to say it's brilliant. Medium coverage, and not at all clogging. Hope this helps. x

Thanks for your replies - MollyMoo do you know where tends to stock Laura Mercier? If they do free samples I'll def give it a try.
Pilley - no I've not tried the Prolumiere - does it give a bit more coverage. I do like the vitalumiere as it looks like I've got no make-up on but just have good skin. For everyday use it's great, but I might want a bit more coverage on the big day I think.
Do Body Shop do samples generally?

yep Body shop are great for giving samples, and yes prolumiere gives more coverage, those 2 sample s will be a great place for you to start. A lot of the highly recommended ones on here, such as estee lauder double wear light were just too sticky and cloggy. Hope you find one. xx
