Positive HPT negative Dr's test.Help!

Hi girls, i had another thread about clearblue faint line. Basically, i have done 2 clearblue test which gave me positive results, one of which very faint!!Period only 3 days late at that point, now 8 days late. Took sample to Dr on Wed and came back as negative, so gutted then did a CBD and got a BFP 1-2 weeks!!!Felt a bit crampy today, Dr said might be low level of hormone or early miscarriage, no bleeding as yet. Has this happened to anyone else? I am going spare here, have to wait another week to take another sample to Dr.xx

Ah honey, I really feel for you. Didn't want to read and run and although this hasn't happened to me I have been pulled every which way but lose lately and that's without a definate BFP so god knows how you must be feeling. Fingers crossed it's just a less sensitive test at Dr's and you've got a sticky xxx

Yeah, you're dead right emotions are everywhere and every day seems to be an eternity!Just going to have to wait until wed to put another test in to Dr.No signs of A though so fingers crossed.xx

Wed is my blood test day at dr's too so keep us updated, let's hope the little one is here to stay! xxxx

aw hun, i would try not to worry just yet. Dr's test are notoriously inaccurate, they have the same levels as ebay cheapies and I know my BFP didnt come up on my ebay cheapies until well after my BFPs on other tests. I would try not to worry and test again on weds. Ive read so many threads on BE about positives on HPTs and negatives on doctor tests and its nearly always turned out to be positive in the end. good luck xxx

Hi hun, try not to worry, this actually happened to another lady on this forum, I'm sure she'll respond when she's sees the topic. Doctors tests are nowhere near as sensitive as HPT's so it takes longer for them to give an accurate result.

i have started getting sore boobs now which i didn't have at the beginning of the week, so i hope this is a good sign but just read on yahoo answers about someone who had positive hpt and neg Dr test and it was a miscarriage but i would have thought 3 days later i would have had some symptoms of a miscarriage.What do you think?Think i will just hand sample in monday cannot wait until wed!xx

I don't normally post on here (but do lurk!!)
This is happening with my sister, she got her bfp a week ago today, on monday she had some pain and was advised to go to hospital, where they did 2 tests which came back negative so they told her it was an early miscarriage.
She went home and did another HPT and it was positive (so were the other 4 inc cbd which has gone for 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks) since then she has had a scan (too early to see anything but was checking about the pain which they think was a cyst popping) and bloodtests which show her hcg level is more than doubling!!!
Hopefully this will give you a little hope, I have my fingers crossed that you have got a sticky bean who is getting comfy for the next 8 months.

That was me! I did two positive home tests and then was told by the Dr that I wasn't pregnant (well the annoying receptionist actually...) I was so upset and thought I must have miscarried but did another CB digital test when I got home that night and it was still positive. I am now 11+3 so don't lose hope - they can get it wrong! xxx

Hi guys!!Just thought i would update you, couldn't wait until monday to do another CBD so......just did another one after work and BFP 2-3 weeks now so something is growing!!!Here's hoping it was just too low hormone levles for dr test!x
