DJ Trauma

Hi, i'm new to all of this and it's a bit daunting.......

I got engaged last November and we have booked our wedding for 30th April 2011. So far we have the church, reception venue, cars, and nearly photographer booked, so i don't think we are doing too bad. We are now stuck trying to find a DJ for the reception, i mean how do you know whether they are good just from looking on a website and whether they will play the sort of music you want.

What i'm bsically looking for is whether anybody knows of any DJ's they can recommend in the Manchester area? The reception is at The Midland Hotel in the centre of Manchester.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, as its proving very hard to find the perfect DJ.

Try an agent like either Function Central or Alive Network. Failing that how about asking some of your local venues for recommendations too.

I asked the hotel who they recommended and they sent me details of one...they sent me info and they do sound quite good,.,if not I can blame the venue!! x

Hi, I've heard that Nick Campbell is very good, he was highly recommended at our venue and i know one of the other brides getting married at the BElle Epoque is using him and funnily enough my hubby to be works with him sometimes at his school and they only realised last week that we were getting married there and he dj's there on a regular basis.
