Subject: Anyone else having bridesmaid issues?
One of my friends has been-well, not as easy going as the others. It's annoyed me a little as I was hoping the girls I chose would be supportive and helpful and without all the drama-which I don't even think she realises is happening. Am I alone with this?!

You are definitely not alone - I recently had to demote one of my bridesmaids. We've been friends for 8+ years, but not only was she ignoring everything to do with the wedding, she also basically ignored me while I was going through a really bad 6 months recently. And when I tried to talk to her about it calmly, she kicked off, and started calling me demanding and selfish. I had to demote her - I don't think she's earned the right to stand up there with me - I was just being sentimental because we've known each other for ages, but that's not a good enough reason to be a bridesmaid.
Hope you manage to get things sorted -it's awful when people end up adding stress onto your big day!

Is your bridesmaid married herself? I have had some problems with a couple of my bridesmaids and I have just come to the conclusion that its just not as important to them as I thought it would be. But I think they may feel differently if they were to be getting married themselves!
My CB and one bridesmaid couldn't be more helpful, I know I can ask them for advice about anything and they will give their honest opinions. One of the others (I have 4 adults) has not even been in contact with me or h2b (h2bs sister) about the wedding at all recently. It is very disappointing, but am just getting on with everything. x
