My dress is Alfred Angelo 1136 so not really a slim A line, but I have a Jupon Petticoat 163 and have tried on a few others. I would say something like this would probably be suitable for you. What dress are you having?

Hi aggibelle, I'm wearing a slim A-line and don't actually think it needs a petticoat so won't be wearing 1.

but when i put it on the skirt falls almost straight down, not A-line like in this picture. i can't figure out which petticoat to get to make the skirt like this pic :\?

I have heard that apparently they usually use Jupon petticoats in the official dress photos. I did read about one lady on here emailed Hollywood Dreams to find out what petticoat was used and it was a Jupon one, but much bigger than these. I noticed a big difference in mine aswell compared to the Alfred Angelo photo. I have to say I think they do look better with a bit more oomph, rather than just hanging down

i like the look of the Jupon 116 but i'm worried that it will either look too big or not even fit under my dress! i have another fitting next thurs so will definitely try a hoop in the shop next time. x
