Hey Ladies ,
Im getting married in Paphos on the 15th July and have a little bit of problem regards groom and ushers outfits, I have brought Pale green Cravats for the men to wear and was thinking ivory waistcoats and shirts with Navy trousers, But now my H2B said why cant they wear linen navy trousers and brown sandals with the waistcoats and cravats . Im not sure what do you think and would they be able to wear the waistcoats with shorts sleeve shirts HELP .

To be honest, I'm not sure how well it would look. I'm assuming (so correct me if wrong) that the waistcoats are of the traditional waistcoat fabric, right? This may not look right with the linen and sandal outfit as they are rather different styles. If the fabric or waistcoat style is similar it could work. What are the cravats like? Are these the satin ones? Again I think it could be a mix of styles.
I can see why your h2b would prefer the linen/sandals as it will be much cooler. It is actually possible to get linen trousers that look quite smart though - if you can find these, maybe you can do a compromise and he can wear these but with the shoes and the waistcoats. Then (depending on what your wedding format is) in the evening when things relax a bit more they can swap the shoes for sandals and take the waistcoat/cravat off?
Not sure if that helps at all, just a thought...?!

Hiya hun, my h2b best man the dads page boy and others are hiring their suits from www.alteregohire.com and sue is very helpful indeed.
My h2b etc are all having grey trousers, a shirt, ivory waistcoat and deep burgundy cravat which they are making up for me.
This comes to 59 euros and they drop off suits to u and collect afterwards x
