They don't go on sale until May though. I need an inexpensive dress for when I go away on 23rd March for marriage blessing on 27th March. Pity they're not selling them now.

Go Asda! I might have to buy H2Bs suit and BM dress from there at that price. Not sure about buying my own dress though.

We have a massive Asda Living store opening nearby this spring so hopefully they will stock a lot of the range :\)

I'd definately get my bridesmaids dresses from here. Hope they do a variety of colours. Im getting hubby a waistcoat and cravat for £30 from Suitsplus.

I'm quite gutted that Asda are not putting the goods on sale until May. Earl & I married last year in our local Church and for our anniversary this year we're going away to our honeymoon destination again. The minister at the Cathedral there said we may have a wedding blessing on our anniversary.

Anyway, we want to wear our "wedding togs" for this ceremony but I thought I'd like a different wedding dress to last time. I already got a nice waistcoat and cravat (similar to that described by scarlet-bride above) so he'd look a bit different to last time, He'll be wearing a cream brocade waistcoat with a matching scrunchy tie/cravat. Last year at the wedding he wore a purple brocade waistcoat and a black dicky-bow so it's just a little different.

I've had one heck of a job finding a cheap wedding gown in my size. Last time I wore a custom-made wedding gown from a Chinese supplier that was lovely. It wasn't particularly expensive either but I'd just like a different one this time. Of course, I could go back down the Chinese route as they're so cheap but in the timescale we have (less than 5 weeks now) it's not a very secure way of getting the dress in time for the ceremony!

I've scoured all the 2nd hand outlets and seen some lovely wedding gowns - but not in my size! I'm probably going to have to re-vamp my existing gown in some way to make it a bit different.

Sorry for the rant there! The Asda gown at £60 was exactly the kind of price I'd like to pay! However, knowing my luck, they probably don't do those ones in my size anyway! I'm 22/24.
