Hey, I'm getting married in 6 weeks and was dead set on having a tiara but I am having trouble finding one that goes with my dress. It's a maggie Sottero Roni Dress and has quite unusual beading under the bust area that follows on the straps all the way down the back. This is the link http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?style=J1226
Can anyone help at all?
Also, is it too much to have beading on the dress, a tiara, and a necklace?! Bit of a minefield really and could really do with some advice!!
Hi, I love your dress. My dress has loads of detail (Pronovias ribete) and I'm having a tiara during the day with a veil and at night I've got a crystal and diamante fascinator. I love the fascinator and bought it when I bought the dress but when I bought the veil I dont think the fascinator goes with the veil and its too much money to just not wear it so I bought myself a nice tiara. I've got a necklace to. Dont think it will be too much at all.
My dress is Alfred Angelo 1136 and am in a similar posititon except the bodice on my dress is heavily beaded allover with crystals so have chosen to have quite a blingy tiara but no necklace or bracelet. Just some simple dropper earrings. I think it would be nice for you to take a similar approach... say have a lovely crystal haircomb and no necklace? I dont think you need it... x
hi chick. just wanna say i absolutely love ur dress. its stunning. Regarding the detail, the beading on the dress is quite fine. they aren't large bulk straps so therefore to answer ur query on whether it would be to OTT to have a necklace and tiara, i really dont think it would.
i think a nice diamante tiara to tie in with the sparkly beading would be fab. However as someone menttioned previously a side comb detailed with crystals and diamantes would be fab too. There's lots of options available, but i wouldnt worry about either being too much,i think the dress can carry the detail. xx
I definitely think a necklace and a tiara would complement it. I wouldn't go for anything OTT for a necklace but definitely something. Try the Nathalie French link to see this jewellery which would look fab!
