hi i was just wondering what st athans is like
i'm a city girl and i've been told buses are only every 2 hours and that st athans is more like the country side, which means i can't get a transfere in my current job as the neareast wilkos store in 6, 7 miles away.
anyone going to st athans?

Hiya, My partner is training at St Athans. He said the buses are more regular than every 2 hours. Not like city buses every 10 mins though! there aren't loads of shops there but there are a few. He also said thought that Llantwit Major train station is literally just a couple of miles from St Athan camp, and it goes every hour (he thinks) into Cardiff - im sure there will be a Wilko there! Hmmmm....whats the other option? Not going into quarters? If it were me, i'd take the transfer. Otherwise, you might not be able to get another job, then you'll be really stuck, and needless to say, really bored! lol. When is it you're moving there? x
i would rather take the transfer.
i've been working since i was 16.
and to not earn any money would be strange, plus it wouldn't be fair for the h2b to the only 1 earning the income.
