Pics of Married Quarters

Hey girls...

I know there's quite a few threads on here about girls wondering what quarters will be like in the camp they are moving to....

I just discovered a group on Facebook called 'Married Quarters R Us' where members have posted pics of their quarters as they've moved in to give others an idea of what the local MQ's are like... I had a look through last night and there are hundreds of pictures to browse through... I found it really helpful!

As I have absolutely no experience of living in MQs, it seems a bit of a lottery, and its really helpful to see what the quarters are like in different areas...

It may also be useful to use this thread to post your MQ pics on... feel free to post away!!!

Its well worth a look - although in my case there still doesn't seem to be any in west London...

If anyone knows anyone living in Bushy / Northwood / Stanmore... or has any experience of the MQs in that area please let me know... H2B and I only have a few months to give our preferences!!! eek!! xx

i want some in shawbury as i think thats wher were going for the first 2 years and then onto odiham - odiham baffles me - with the different patches. its hard to imagine when you dont know the place

My H2B used to live in shawbury with his parents (94-98) and said the MQs were brand new and really nice!!!

Thank you for the link - good to know. I will be looking at going into MQ;s next year after my H2B returns from tour. Kind of put me off though as used to living in my little home which I have made my own! I do know that you are restricted to decorating the MQ which really puts me off..... x

thanks for the comments girls.... I know its a point of concern for all of us... H2B and I took a drive out to Stanmore yesterday and peered through windows of empty MQs... they were definitely empty for a reason!!!!!

Nice area tho, handy for the camp, tube station etc... xx
