Mamas and Papas outlet

I know this was on a few weeks ago but just thought id write another post about how good it is. We had already bought our pram but I just wasnt quite happy with my choice and continued looking. We phoned the Mamas and Papas factory outlet on thurs to see what their stock was like as we live a hour away so didnt want a wasted journey. They had a skate in which I really liked the look of as it was carrycot, forward facing and rear facing all in one so you wouldnt be storing seats or carrycots when not in use. It was ex display but had everything with it for £199, currently selling for £650 in store. I asked if they could hold one for us as hubby was in work and we didnt want to get there and they had sold them as they only had two in stock. She picked the best one out and put it away. We got there and we were so surprised at the amount of stock they had, tons of prams, carseats and everything else you could hope for. All the baby clothes were half price and under, all the maternity clothes were a fiver and they had cotbeds and nursery furniture starting at £100. She brought our pram out from the back and it was immaculate, I was so happy we'd decided to make the journey. The staff were all lovely and the girl showed us how to use pram and asked if we needed help folding it for the car. The only thing is there is no refunds or exchanges on purchases but you get a 12 month guarentee. If you live near one it is well worth the journey. xx

Which one did u go to? I live not far from the one in stoke-on-trent, been there lots of times with my best friend who has two babies, i cant wait to be shopping in there for my own once i get my bfp that is! lol x

We went to the one in stoke. I really wish I had of gone before we bought all of our other stuff. Hope you get your BFP soon so you can go baby crazy, lol!! xx

I am lucky we have two near us, I haven't been for ages - I phoned them the other day so see if they had the moses basket I wanted - they were really helpful on the phone.

I must get myself there !

I went to the one in Stoke last week on the back of a recent thread on here and like you was amazed at how good it was. When we got there and I saw it was not this massive place I was a bit worried about a wasted journey... £300 and most of the nursery kitted out I was really impressed. We are prob gonna go back once baby is here to get some pink or blue clothes and again before Xmas to get a walker / ride on for bubba's first Xmas!

FAB FAB Place, canot reccomend it enough.

Hi, I just noticed a mama and papas outlet store in a nearby desinger outlet centre on the weekend. The shop looked quite small though. We were with friends who dont know yet and so couldn't look too closely!

Anyhoo hubbys parents live not far from Stoke. Where abouts is the store you are all talking about as it sounds bigger than the one I've seen??
