Crest teeth whitening recommendations

I know, i know this has been a topic on here time and time before i can't find it!! I am thinking of getting some of the crest teeth whitening strips and there seems to be a lot of different ones on ebay, i need help - which would you recommend? I'm not a smoker or red wine drinker, they're just quite dull and yellowish but would love that beaming white smile I'm not getting married until September but thinking if i started now it might be possible.

I went on crest website and the latest one seems to be Advance Seal - has anyone used these??

I have the Crest Whitestrips Supreme - been using them since last Wednesday. My teeth aren't particularly yellow at all - but I do drink red wine and coffee! I also bought the Crest Vivid White toothepast to go with them - prob no different to white toothpastes from the supermarket anyway but got them as it said recommended to go with ....

From the first use my teeth were really sparkly, like having a professional clean. Have got a bit of sensitivity with them on my lower teeth, but nothing major and it says that can be expected and will go after a couple of days not using the strips.

MsLashes, I hope that you don't mind me jumping in on your question, but am also thinking about these and wondered how it works - does a weeks worth keep teeth white for a couple of months, or do you keep using more often? I get married in june and dont know if its a gradual change or if I can just get some a few weeks before and that will be enough?

I started using mine with 18 dayd to go! Mine are a 21 day course and on the site below it says results last up to 30 months. The table shown is quite useful about the info on the different types.

This produce is great, buy the kit that has made to measure trays. Within 3 uses my mum asked me what I had done to my teeth as very looked so white!!! The fit anyone trays are uncomfortable and you end of with the product all over your gums. So I then bought the custom trays and they are brilliant. I can sit watching TV and H2B doesn't even know they are in.

not atall missbrightside - good question! I was thinking if i try and brighten mine now and then use pearl drops toothpaste each day to keep the stains away and then if i need anymore closer to the date i would get some more. This is my thinking but if anyone has any other ideas please share!

Dentstore don't appear to have any so if i wa buying from ebay i would need 3 lots from this seller to get the full effects??

If buying off eBay just make sure you're aware of how many strips you are buying - 14 strips (7 pouches) will only last 3 and a half days as they recommend a pouch in the morning and the evening (before brushing). So you would need 6 sets to get the 21 day course you would get from the full pack. Might be cheaper by the full pack by about a tenner or so to buy the 84 strips (21 days) if you are looking for a longer treatment. I did see on the ebay link from above that it says they will send the "full outer packaging" if buying 84 strips - possibly best to have this as it has instructions on the back of the box, plus sensitivity warnings etc. xx

ok that's brilliant - i've just been watching a few you tube vids on them they look great! Definatly worth a try and definatly going for the whole 84 strips. I'm thinking of doing it first thing in the morning when i get up - but can you eat straight after them? I don't have much time in the morning so wondering what is the best way to do it xx

I used white strips for my wedding day smile.

Wedding was Sept 08.

I used a packet in April - to see if it worked ...which it did - an amazing difference for a smoker/coffee lover! and then did a "top-up" nearer the big day.

I got mine on ebay and never paid more than £21 a packet. Well worth it.

Hi, I have used these before aswell. I got mine off ebay and bought the Premium ones. You put a strip on for 30 mins twice a day or once a day, just whatever feels best for you really, as some people are very sensitive. You are supposed to do top and bottom, but when I smile you cant really see my bottom teeth, so I have ended up havnig twice as many that can be used for the top. They are so good!! After about 3 days you can see a real difference, I am not a smoker or red wine/coffee drinker and people say my teeth are white already, but I have noticed a big diffrence they have just taken the dullness away and made them beaming, sparkling white. I do them every 6 months or so just to keep on top of them. I would defo reccomend! And are much cheaper than the dentist whitening x x

I've used Supreme -ultra strong only need to do for a week-sensitivity is worse though. Premium- good few weeks is enough. Now using advanced seal- great you forget you have them on! Have used these for years and I drink a glass of red everynight etc so need it! and have to have very white teeth!!!
PS Those sites are ripping you off. Go to ebay much cheaper and if you are worried about seller just pick one who is Top Rated. xxx

thanks! I'm so confused now don't know which ones to pick and how long i should be using them for!! Maybe i should try a couple of ebay and see if they work and which i prefer. I know everybody says how wonderful they are but i've used home whitening kits before and have always been dead disappointed so this time i'm thinking the stronger the better!
So were your teeth very white after a week of using the supreme ones?

right sod it went for the whole 84 pack of crest supreme strips from ebay - i shall let you know how i get on
